Reach MMO. Here's to hoping.

And the people that believe "the hardcore playlists would be more popular if the rules were strictly MLG" can come off it, now. If you're not willing to support something close to your own setup, there's no reason for us to believe that cloning our own lists and stripping the variety down will attract more people. -- Shishka, Bungie.net

Man you are such a badass. Everyone should listen to you because you're so badass. What the -blam!- was Bungie thinking??? They should hire you because you're so awesome and they need a badass.

no need to be an ass either.

OP,
bad registration happens not as often as you claim on LAN. LAN is like a micro XBL, so there ARE lost data, but less than what you say.
it's extremely rare. MLG competitions are on LAN for a reason, and THEY don't complain. hell I've never seen a shot not register on a LAN MLG game.

MLG isn't a sub branch of Bungie. if the game is flawed, then they don't care, they're not here to promote H3. MLG players would use glitches all the time in H2, and it was a flaw (or should quote you and say a "fail" ?) of the game.

if shots doesnt register in one a game, they won't modify the video to hide it.

Gamertags: defghik, sneaky beav3r. Send me a FR if you play MLG customs.

Sad but true... Halo 1 > Halo 2>>>Halo 3

I've only played H3 on LAN a few times (mostly around the time when the game came out), so I haven't played it myself to notice. But, I've watched every H3 MLG event, and there definitely have been times where snipes don't register, where the BR just won't kill an unshielded opponent despite perfect aim, and double reloads (this actually DID happen to me on LAN with the rockets) with the BR, sniper, and rockets (mostly with the rockets). The game definitely is much better on LAN than XBL, but on LAN, there shouldn't really ever be crap like that happening.

That's not to say that it didn't happen in H2 - even on LAN, snipes wouldn't register (although that was very rare, the only instances I remember were Naded sniping at Meadowlands '07 vs. The Agency, and one time with Nice Like Rice vs. Final Boss at Orlando '07), and the occasional phantom rocket (the rocket launcher would appear in a different spot on the client's screen compared to the hosts, which made it so the client couldn't pick up the weapon). In Reach, there should be basically no BS whatsoever on LAN.
