"The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

I remember back before Halo 3 came out this was talked about in the Halo 3 Forum, but it was never put into Halo 3. Since this is Bungie's last Halo game than we really need to put some attention on this.
Anyway, anyone who's played Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has probably played in the space battle mode(I forget the name}. Me and a lot of other people think it would be a good idea to make a gametype in Halo: Reach that's similar to that.
One team could occupy a Covenant battleship, and the other could occupy the human battleship. The objective of the game would be to take out the ship from the outside and/or infiltrate the inside of the enemy ship and destroy equipment, which would make it easier to destroy it from the outside.
For anyone who doesn't know what SW:BF2's Space Battles were like, here's a LINK.
The teams could be set up like this:
Humans
-Pelican; slower, but stronger and transports more troops
-Hornets
-other; new vehicle
Covenant
-Phantom; slower, but stronger and transports more people
-Banshee
-Other; new vehicle
What do you guys think of this idea? Does anyone have any ideas?
I like the idea, but since it is a spacebattle we should also use the seraph fighter for the covenant and the the UNSC Longsword Bomber and some of vehicles that we have read in the Halo books but not seen in the games. And another thing... since this is before Halo CE in Halo CE instead of of Phantoms they had the Spirit, but they are both equal so it doesn't matter.
