I say Bungie should take ODST Free-roam Concept as an example of how Halo: Reach's Free-roam should be.

It could be a whole new concept, where you start out small (Like Niko) and you rise up through all the good or evil (UNSC or Covies) and eventually become the best (Like Niko)
So I guess it would be sort of a RPG/Free Roam
