Well apparently this whole I love bees thing is being associated with the halo 2 storyline just because it was shown during the xbox patton at the end of the trailer, I believe this is not the case.
To get a better idea of what I'm talking about go to the legendary site ilovebees.com and click on the link right under the annoying countdown/WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE status box (the link in the answer to the FAQ). w00t, you've just come across xbox propaganda! Now take some time to read the posts and you'll hear of a supposedly erie figure known by the alias xnbomb... hmmmmm XN ---> like in xbox next... I guess the bomb part can either cause for another raise in the national terror alert (headline: Palestinian militants strap prototype explosive xboxs to themselves and take over Jerusalem) or could be a good thing, like maybe some big news about xbox next.
In accordence with the relatively new resonating news from sony and nintendo that they will showcase their next-gen systems at E3 next year, and the own going silence from microsoft about wtf they are up to, it only makes sence to blow the hype from the competition away through some massive countdown to a series of events that will showcase xbox next.
The first event, which will happen 4 days from now also happens to be in sync with another very microsoft/xbox involved event called meltdown (visit site ***https://secure.lenos.com/lenos/microsoft/meltdown2004/*** --brought to my attention by SHERJAN). Now, go to the site and click on registration and look at the bar near the top of the page if you don't belive that this event will happen 4 dayz from now because it clearly states it will happen from the 27th to the 28th of july (today being the 23rd of course). The venue consists of XNA related topics (click "who should attend?" to quickly see this) and deeper into the site there are many xbox-system related topics on the venue as well that will probably showcase another unseen and possibly groundbreaking feature of the new xbox that will blow news about sony's cell chip away.
The truth of the matter is that I don't love bees very much, and that if we were to expect any bungie related news it would probably happen on the event 18 days from now, but the first event is pretty much draw out I believe, but then again I could be wrong...
