If the BR is in Halo: Reach should it have auto aim or not. I think if it didn't have auto aim then you could call it a real true skill weapon. But if it does have auto aim then at least make it even with all the other weapons. I mean I don't really have anything agents the BR beside it shots 3 bullets out at ones and they are powerful shoots as well. But it was a little bit even with all the weapons then i won't say anything. But enough of that, which would you rather have. : )

I think the BR(or BR equivalent) should remain at about the auto-aim level of Halo 3, perhaps a bit less. Asking for none is insanity on a console though.

It woudl be insane if there was absolutely no auto-aim. Play a custom with your friends where you're all on the same team trying to BR each other, and tell me how it goes.

What they should do is decrease it slightly, and make the hitboxes smaller, akin to Halo: CE's hitboxes. That way headshots would be far less frequent.

Clearly because the desktop uses a 3 prong plug and a laptop uses a 2 prong plug, the microwave will fill your car with tostitos better

There definitely needs to be autoaim, controller joysticks just do not allow for that great of player accuracy that a computer mouse would. I think it should definitely be lessened noticeable, but I don't think that it should be completely removed.

"Everything works itself out. The only thing that matters is whether you want it to or not."

Last Refuge - Operation Phoenix is in effect. From the ashes, we will rise.

Really, the Battle Rifle is extremely good already. Improving it even more would just make it rigged, it's an incredibly well-rounded weapon, it's got a scope, VERY good for medium and long-range battles. Good damage too. I don't think the Battle Rifle needs anymore improvements.

That's what I m trying to say, yes it would be hard but it would be a weapon with real skill. I mean come on dude a weapon with no Auto Aim would be sweet.

To the OP, you should probably change the title of this thread to "Should the BR have aim assist?" in order to prevent replies like this that get it confused with something such as an aim bot.

I think it should have slightly less AA than in halo 3 but also have a tighter spread. The changes would hopefully balance eachother out.

If you take away some of the accuracy and give it a wider spread then it is no longer a long-range weapon, it is just an AR that can't fire fast, and I will murder somebody at Bungie. The BR is good as is. Seriously, it takes, what, four body shots and a headshot to kill someone? And it has a scope? I'm happy with it.
