Have you enabled them in the video settings menu? If you did and they don't appear - it's sort of a general fact that nVidia cards and certain Forceware driver versions don't perform well on Halo. Many do not draw invisible players correctly, and some don't draw particles or lighting and shadows very well.

I think that maybe trying an earlier driver version may help. You can always go to the NGO website, see if they have forums, and pose the question there. They'd probably know.

So my old Geforce MX 440 is better? because i can see particles perfectly fine on that card.

Were you using the same drivers?

And I'm not sure about performance, but I think the Mx440 is a piece of junk - at least it was when I had one. Look for benchmarks for both of them and see how an MX440 and FX5200 stack up.

Try playing on those, then. Some Forceware versions screw up Halo, quite a bit actually.

It'd be better if someone who has worked with nVidia could help you - I'm mainly just ATi.

250 watts doesn't seem like a lot of power for a high end pc for gaming. i think you might want to consider getting a better power supply, no less than 350 watts. are we talking a PCI-Express or AGP card? I have a Radeon X300 SE, which is like the slowest of all PCI-Express cards.
