By now I'm sure most of you have seen the GameTrailers interview.
The following is from the video interveiw by GameTrailers.com's Geoff Keighley, with Bungie Studios, Joseph Staten. It takes place between 19:12 and 19:37 of this video.
Keighley: "What else are you exited for?"
Staten: "Well we did the Covenant side of the story in Halo 2, which was... Which was pretty fun to do. Ummm..."
Keighley: "That big twist."
Staten: "That big twist, and I think, you know, looking forward into the future, uhhh... we're really exited about telling the story with maybe, more Spartans in it."
Keighley: "Right."
Staten: "We haven't said a lot about Reach, but you know, that's certainly an interesting direction to go, where it's not... it's not just the Master Chief."
Keighley: "There is accually a squad."
Staten: "You bet, I think, without any of of baggage of sort of squad based combat, I think that would be a safe assumption."
Now the thing that popped out for me is:
Keighley: "What else are you exited for?"
Staten: "Well we did the Covenant side of the story in Halo 2, which was... Which was pretty fun to do. Ummm..."
Covenant campaign? I hope. And this defiantly supports the theory of there being one in Halo: Reach.
But this time I think that there should just be two different campaigns, not one that intertwines the two.
Opinions?
