Subject: ODST and the Beta. Hacker's delight?

It won't be on the ODST disk, they said clearly on one of their recent podcasts that it is in pre-alpha stages.

So it guarantees you access to the beta "whenever it goes live". If the disk has the beta, it must be built in. The reason why? Unless it's a downloaded beta that can only be downloaded on the Marketplace via the disk, it should actually be on the disk. Therefore a hacker could probably unlock it. Bungie might want to look into that.
Halo Reach does not exist on Halo 3 ODST.
you'll have to download it, and probably do that crap again, when you have to go through one game to another. some people got lucky when they could access the game from the Dashboard.
I hope I get a Bungie code, again :D

Note: Microsoft banned alot of hackers/pirates.

You can pull your pants up now I am finished.

They also said at pax it wont even be going live until next year, so beta is not on the disk it is in the extras menu. The way they do it is there is a serial number on the disk and when you put that in and it reads it that is how they let you in. It is the same reason you cant download a game to ur hard drive and then play it without the disc. The xbox reads that serial number and then launches the game from your hard drive so it knows it is a legit game. That is how it works so everyone calm down their will be no hacking of any beta on any game that is ever released because the game companies are always smarter than the people who play the games. PLAIN AND SIMPLE :)
