I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Now dont say well g.o.w or call of duty did that so you can't. but they all took theirs from real world i want be 1 ton suit but can move fast, hit hard, get in and out just as fast.

You can't include this in the post and expect people not to call you on it, If bungie just whent around mimmicking other games then Halo would be nothing it would lose it's identity. Halo plays like Halo and that's why we play it ASWELL as Gears and COD.

L4D had a turn 180 degrees button, where would that fit in the current Halo controller scheme? Or, just up your sensetivity.

As for the Halo Wars CGI battle, they had no cover at all. I also believe that the action was pumped up alot in that specific scene. When the Spartans still were in groups, they used the landscape alot. As I recall, they didn't do any jumps or anything in the books.

Or do you want a system as UT? To fast presses of the directional buttons make you dodge to that direction. Like, press twice forward and you will jump forward.

CoD doesn't have a cover system, I think you're thinking of Rainbow Six Vegas. GoW and Vegas got similair covering systems, as I've seen, not played Vegas myself.

So, do you want more covers in maps? Or a cover system where you take cover with the press of a button?

The way I see it, the current multiplayer maps got excelent cover for most of the times. In campaign, if it isn't a stealth mission, then there's little cover.

Nerd fact: Spartans wiegh half a ton /nerd fact

If they speed up the 100% speed, things will get chaotic. It'll be harder hitting people with mostly every weapon. People will charge each other an melee alot more than they do now, which tends to be alot. Because there are few medium to long range weapons.

Depending on how fast you go in, hit hard and get out, is entirely up to how well you know the situation, how well you can adapt to new situations, and your skill. Now don't misunderstand, I don't bash your skill. I'm just saying that it requires tactics and skill to do something like that. If you're refering to objective games and you think you move slow when you have an objective. It's supposed to give the defending team a fighting chance, and the attacking team has to rely more on communication and team work to guard the one with the objective.

Wthe three things you said last, I have no idea what you mean, cause the second last was a contradiction that what you said before.

well, they have to improve something, weapons they can add but in end u have weapon that just fall into spray and pray or more accurate hard hitting ones. short or long range.

The BR and the Carbine are medium range weapons. I'd say the neelder works pretty good on medium range too. Some weapon designs could re-appear from Halo CE. Weapons would be the hardest area to "improve" at this point, where they have established quite alot of weapons, and then make a prequel.

the only thing halo plays like any other run around shooter since it has no cover system, why do you think people use certain areas on some maps that cracks since it gives them great cover. people use it but its poor system since it was never put in the game.

Now I have no idea what you are talking about. If it was never put in the game, then they can't use it. If there are rocks, mazes or otherwise good places for cover, that's tactics. Would I be in a real fight, I'd go for the places with more cover.

call duty has no real thing except prone which would be great for hiding in some type concealment that does not provide cover.

So why did you bring it up if it isn't a proper cover system? Isn't the whole idea of a cover, a place where you are harder to shoot, but can easily shoot back?

One thing halo games never brought the agile of halo universe. in books it say they are very agile and halo wars made them very agile where they become acrobats. The only thing it would hurt this game if it played to much like halo 3 will there be nothing really separating from halo 3.

Bringing more agility the way I think you want it, would make it a Matrix game. They are agile in the sense of combat, not acrobatics.

I just saying dont think in terms that one game went into cover system that you can't make cover system. that would help halo. dont make it where it obsessive where be slow game but make it where you use i am up he sees me i am down. actually work

I'd say that either there is a cover system where you press a button and take cover, or there is no cover system, you just have to position yourself properly to have cover.

A maplayout that provides alot of cover is not a cover system. What would you suggest would be a good cover system that doesn't slow down the game, but maintains the agility and speed you wanted at first?
