L4D had a turn 180 degrees button, where would that fit in the current Halo controller scheme? Or, just up your sensetivity.
As for the Halo Wars CGI battle, they had no cover at all. I also believe that the action was pumped up alot in that specific scene. When the Spartans still were in groups, they used the landscape alot. As I recall, they didn't do any jumps or anything in the books.
Or do you want a system as UT? To fast presses of the directional buttons make you dodge to that direction. Like, press twice forward and you will jump forward.
CoD doesn't have a cover system, I think you're thinking of Rainbow Six Vegas. GoW and Vegas got similair covering systems, as I've seen, not played Vegas myself.
So, do you want more covers in maps? Or a cover system where you take cover with the press of a button?
The way I see it, the current multiplayer maps got excelent cover for most of the times. In campaign, if it isn't a stealth mission, then there's little cover.
Nerd fact: Spartans wiegh half a ton /nerd fact
If they speed up the 100% speed, things will get chaotic. It'll be harder hitting people with mostly every weapon. People will charge each other an melee alot more than they do now, which tends to be alot. Because there are few medium to long range weapons.
Depending on how fast you go in, hit hard and get out, is entirely up to how well you know the situation, how well you can adapt to new situations, and your skill. Now don't misunderstand, I don't bash your skill. I'm just saying that it requires tactics and skill to do something like that. If you're refering to objective games and you think you move slow when you have an objective. It's supposed to give the defending team a fighting chance, and the attacking team has to rely more on communication and team work to guard the one with the objective.
Wthe three things you said last, I have no idea what you mean, cause the second last was a contradiction that what you said before.
