Subject: what's your favourite kind of music?

I voted Classical, but, as goweb pointed out, it's not strictly accurate. I actually am not a huge fan of Classical music; I can't stand Mozart, but I do like some Haydn. I prefer music from the Romantic period up to early 20th Century stuff. ie from Beethoven up to Debussy.

I also like some Jazz, but it doesn't really compare.

I listen to a lot of old school punk, ska, reggae, and some hardcore (very very little). I tend to stay far away from mainstream music, corporate radio is worse than no radio at all IMO. Some of my favorite bands are Conflict, The Slackers, Choking Victim, Infinite Justice, Big D and the Kids Table, Dead Kennedys, Fishbone, INDK, and Zounds (too name a few.)

Anyone else listen to this crap?

My favorite musician though is Jack Johnson
