I have a feeling that ODST was an experiment for a new game play design and I think Reach is going to have some influence from it. What I mean is the more open world aspect of ODST, and Im sure Reach is going to have a new engine to power this experiment. I have a feeling the combat will literally be on a much grander scale. Also I like the darker tone so far in what Ive seen in the ODST previews, it seams like a sadder story and more human on a personal level. Im not saying they should use a different color pallet rather make the story more serious, like what ODST appears to be, and with a new engine it should help make the game look less cartoonish.
