My ideas for Reach were inspired by multiple threads and many other things. I wrote this up a while back, and its Copy-Pasted from my notepad, so if it doesn't seemed geared to you guys or anything, know why.

(Double Post Nessessary)

Reach would be a FPS with a Squad-based Battlefield twist.

Basic gameplay would consist of parties joined into Squads, Friends with friends or You with a ton of strangers.
Squads would consist from up to 2 people to 10 maximum, each squad would assigned to do certain objectives assigned by
either an AI or another Human, who would be the host of the game, one for each race. The Commaders could
tell certain squads to do certian things on their Maps. He/she can set Nav and Waypoints at where they would like the
squads to go. He could also assign certain colors for certain things such as Red, for Enemies, Blue for Attack here,
Green for Defend here, and Yellow for Ambush here or something else. The Commanders would also have the ability to
use certain special attacks such as a MAC Blast, Supply Drop, EMP Blast and such. There would be certain maps as well,
all with unique weapon and equipment spawns.
As well as a great multiplayer, the game would also have a great campaign, conisting of many levels, but of course,
this would be made by Bungie.

The game would also support a Class and Ranking up systems, varying for each race.

~UNSC~
Marines: Basic Infantry units, your first class you will be able to use. Better as scout units more than anything.
Spawns would include Assault Rifles and M6C Pistols,
and 2 Frags. They would play like an ODST would, but much weaker and less strong. They would be slightly faster than
an ODST, but slower than a Spartan.
Non-weildable weapons: Spartan Laser, Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer, M6D, M6G, and Flamethrower.
Achievements: Spartan Worthy, True Soldier, Sargent.

Medics: Basic Support units, Unlocked with your first class as well, Also usable as a loadout for other classes, allowing
each class to allow the next Medic Class to unlock. Spawns include a Medical Pack and a M6c Pistol. Medics
can also pick up any weapons that a basic marine can, but is very slightly weaker than the normal marines.
Non-Weildable Weapons: Spartan Laser, Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer, M6D, and M6G, Rocket Launcher, Fuel Rod Gun, Flamethrower.
Achievements: Team Support, Medical Specialist 1, What was that?.
Loadout: Stealth M, Scout M, Basic M.

Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST): Unlocked after hitting Level 30/60 of your Marine Class. Spawns include M7S SMG
and M6C/Socom. Slower than a Spartan but much stronger than a Marine. Although Slower, They have the ability to drop into
the map with help of HEV Drop Pods.
Non-Weildable Weapons: M6G and Flamethrower.
Achievments: Feet First!, HellJumper, Moving on up!, Medical Specialist 2.
Loadouts: Medic, Heavy, Stealth, Scout, Assault.

Spartan II: Unlocked after hitting level 50/100 of your ODST Class. Spawns are normally Battle Rifles and Assault Rifles.
Much faster than ODSTs and Marines and stronger. They have Shielding as well as normal battle plate. They have the ability to
drop into battle with a HEV Drop Pod and also pilot a Longsword Fighter. Spartans can weild all weapons.
Achievements: Truly Invincible, Master Chief Sir!, Medical Master, Final Battle.
Loadouts: Medic, Heavy, Stealth, Scout, Assault, Rifleman.

~Covenant~

Grunts: Unlocked at Beginning. Not unlike the UNSC counterpart, they are weak and and slightly faster than Jackals and such. Although being one of
the less glorious units, Grunts are great because they spawn quicker than other units and also can spawn with loadouts, unlike
their UNSC counterpart. Spawns are Plasma Pistol and Needler.
Non-Weildable Weapons: Rocket Launcher, Energy Sword, Plasma Rifle, Gravity Hammer, Brute Shot, Spartan Laser, Flamethrower and Sniper Rifles.
Achievements: Payback!, Deacon, Leader.
Loadouts: Basic, Deacon, Heavy, Spec Ops, and Scout.

Engineer: Unlocked at Beginning. Kin to the UNSC Medics, Engineers are support units who heal and help units. While having
no weapons by themselves, they can only help other units heal and scout if needed. Engineers are special in two ways though,
While not having any weapons, they can help others by giving Brutes and Elites Overshields and lower units shielding. Also,
If need be, the Engineers can be used as Suicide Bombers, rigging themsleves like a giant grenade and running into an enemy,
taking them both.
Achiements: Covenant Support, Engineering Prowess 1, Engineering Prowess 2, Engineering Prowess 3, Bombs away!

Jackal: Unlocked after reaching 40/80 of your Grunt Class. While Jackals are frail, and very easily killed, they are
Excellent Snipers and marksmen. Despite the lack of Physical Strength, and also Weapon Varity, they are excellent with
carbines and Snipers, Their natural ability to see invisible enemies and also zoom in further than other units makes them
an invaluable asset to the Covenant. They have the ability to use 2 types of perks. One being a class with a shield, limiting
their weapon choices to Needlers, Plamsa Rifles and Plasma Pistols, otherwise, the marksman class allows for Carbines and
snipers as well as the other weapons, but without the shield.
Non-Wields: Every other gun except for Plamsa Rifles, Needler, Plasma Pistols, Beam Rifles and Carbines.
Achievements: Headshot!, Phalanx Hero, Vulture Power!.
Loadouts: Sniper, Assault

Drones: Unlocked after reaching 60/80 of your Grunt Class. Drones lack the physical prowess of an elite or even a grunt, but
have an ability that only the drones can have. Drones are not very thick armored, and cannot take that much dammage, but have
the ability to fly around the map at very stunning speeds. Normally used for Scouting missions and Ambushes though. A Special
ops class at best.
Non-Wields: Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer, All Human Tech, Beam Rifles, Brute Shot.
Achievements: Flying Beast!, Air...Bug?, Stealth Bug!.
Loadouts: Heavy, Scout, Anti-Vehicle, Stealth, Spec Ops, Close Quarters.

Hunter: Unlocked after Reaching 50/100 of your Jackal Class. Slow. So very very slow, yet beyond that, Physical Strength and
Sheer power are made up with it. Hunters cannot run, they cannot jump, and are generally one of the slower units, although,
when your using one, your power is invaluable to a squad. Hunters can only fire their Assault Cannon and Melee, but even so,
having the largest health bar and most powerful armor in the game makes up for only having such limited options. Their Melee
attacks kill normal Marines within one hit, and Spartans and ODSTs take just about 2. On top of that, Their cannons can take
out multiple units at one time, taking them all out, one by one. These are complete powerhouses.
Achievements: All Brawn..., Spartan Hunter, Powerhouse!.

Brutes: Unlocked after Completing your Drone Class. Powerful, Strong, Speedy.. What more could you ask for? These guys can
take out an entire squad of Marines easy! Slower than Spartans, but can sprint quickly and melee faster than any other units.
They essetially play like an Elite, except slighly slower and a few diferences. Also, goes into a automatic Beserk Mode after
taking too much damage. Can Weild all weapons.
Achievements: Like a Raging Bull, Honored, Heresy!, Cheiftan.
Loadouts: Heavy, Scout, Stealth, Anti-vehicle, Spec Ops, Assault, Close-Quarters.

Elites: Unlocked after completing your Jackal Class. Fast, Swift and straight to their deathly point. These guys dont take no
for an answer... nor do they give mercy. One of the all around classes, has shields and can use all weapons. The only
difference between them, Spartans and Brutes... They've got Camo. All the time... Active Camo is always avalible to them, but
they play like a normal elite.
Achievements: Like Mist in the night..., Honor Guard, Just like Half-Jaw, Arbitary.
Loadouts: Heavy, Scout, Stealth, Anti-vehicle, Spec Ops, Assault, Close-Quarters, Honor Guard (Honor Guard Pike and Fuel Rod).

missions complete. He can assign Nav points, the same way as the Commanders can, but they all mean different things.
A: Green, Saying Rally and attack here.
x: Blue, Saying Surround and Attack here.
B: Red, Indicating an Enemy.
Y: Yellow, saying to capture this point.
RB: Cyan, saying to Gather Ammo here.
LB: Orange, Beware for Enemy Presence.
Trigger: White, Move here.

Whether you choose to do what he says or not, he can kick you from your squad at any time. If so, you must find another squad
within 2 minutes or you will be booted from the game.

-Beginning the Game-
For UNSC, you will start in a Human Frigate, with Pelicans and Longswords to fly into the battle (Along with Drop Pods for
ODSTs). To start, Get in a Pelican and load your team up and fly into battle. You may deploy wherever you would like, but
beware of the AA guns at each base, coving half the map for each race, for Quick win preventing. You may fly low, or very
high to avoid the AA guns, as they cannot reach you up high or at a low level. For ODSTs and Spartans, You may get in
Longswords, which are Fighters that you can fly around in and battle the enemy Seraph Fighters if you want. Also, for ODSTs
and Spartans, you can use HEV Drop Pods to send you into battle quickly. As well as everything else, these cannot pass
the AA Guns at each base, but you can get to the surface before anyone else.

Eventually, you may be able to board the enemy frigate and destroy it, making it impossible to use Leader Powers and also go into
battle without a captured base. (Ex. You have no captured bases and your ship is dead. You cannot spawn until you get a base,
or you get a new frigate.) Eventually, a new Ship will arive with another temporary base for you to use and spawn at.
Also, for ODSTs and Spartans, you can use HEV Drop Pods to send you into battle quickly. Also, these cannot pass the AA
Guns at each base, but you can get to the surface before anyone else.

For Covenant, You will spawn on a Covenant Frigate, with Phantoms, Spirit Transports and Seraph Fighters. Phantoms are
stronger than Spirits, but can only be driven by elites and brutes. Spirits can be driven by Any race, and Seraphs are
only used for Brutes and Elites. Elites do have Drop Pods, but there is only a few and are not very plentiful.

From there, you will land your troops and begin your conquest. You Commander has the option to stay aboard the ship and
protect it with a squad and Issue Commands from there,or he may drop with you and get in the fight. Either way,
you cannot force him off the ship, him, or anyone else. It is ideal to leave a squad on the Frigate to keep the opposing
team from attacking and effectivley destroying your Frigate.
