The Drinol are an enemy created for Halo that has yet to be in any Halo game. Instead of putting Brutes in Halo: Reach, could the Drinol perhaps take their place? Here is why I think they should.
Drinols are similar to Hunters in size and anti-vehicular purposes, as Hunters were considered "tank-killers" in Halo Wars. This could give them an anti-vehicular purpose as well as an Infantry killer.
Like the Brutes, Drinol were meant to go berserk. Now imagine a beat the size of a Hunter that is going ape -blam!- at you. What will you do, run it over? Ha! The Drinol could be better Brutes then the Brutes themselves were.
For a scale of what we are dealing with here, take a look at the Sharquoi from Marathon, a beast many speculate are is a Drinol in the Marathon universe.
For added fun, maybe they could be mounted by Grunts or Elites. They are certainly large enough in theory, but ti could be silly. Or it could be amazing.
What do you think? Would these be worthy enemies?
