Halo has always had lots of customization and with each game it has increased. For Reach I would like to see much more.
PLAY STYLES
Everyone is fixated on classes versus weapons on map. Why can't we have both. The classic Halo system has always worked and needs to stay but classes more similar to the Team Fortress 2 than Battlefield would be nice too.
There are plenty of other play styles that could work too. Custom loadouts or an in game weapon purchase menu both come to mind.
GAMETYPES
All the gametypes and options from all the Halo games should return. Whatever happened to Race or 3+ team multiflag? Multijuggernaut could work too, the new possibilities are endless. I hope there are lots of new options and maybe some new gametypes as well.
WEAPONS
We need more variety in weapons but don't go making an equivalent for every single weapon. All weapons should be able to be customized slightly; damage, capacity, projectile speed, rate-of-fire and spread are examples of things that could be changed.
There should also be custom weapons like the custom powerups. Almost every aspect could be altered to make your own custom weapon. They would probably have a generic forerunner design.
VEHICLES
The same as the weapons, you would be able to alter them and there would be forerunner style vehicles that could be completely customized.
FORGE
Forge should remain almost the same just with new features that make customizing maps easier.
There should also be a new more advanced version of Forge. It would be similar to the Farcry 2 editor. It would be much more complicated than the basic version of Forge.
ARMOR CUSTOMIZATION
Similar to Halo 3 but with custom forearms, shins and thighs. The section of the armor that can be colored should be broken down into more than just primary, secondary and detail. Emblems should also be able to be made by the player instead of being selected.
CUSTOM GAME OPTIONS
-Fall damage [ON/OFF]
-Melee Combos [ON/OFF]
-Jump Height(not the same as gravity, you would jump higher or lower while falling at the same rate as 100% gravity)
