I know that Halo 3 PC hasn't come out yet, but since it has come out for Xbox360 and since the hardware of Xbox360 is known, I would like to know what requirements will be needed to play this game on the PC...Thank you

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Have you ever played a PC game? Like... ever?

Like Pet0sh said, that's not how it works.

I can give you an estimate, though. If Bungie does it right, and it's not made of the essence of fail like H2V, it would probably look as follows:

CPU: 2.8GHz or greater (2.2GHz dual-core or higher recommended)
RAM: 512MB, 1GB for Vista (2GB or higher recommended)
HDD Space: Between 10-15GB
Graphics: 256MB DirectX 9.0c card with Shader Model 3.0 support (512MB DirectX 10 card or higher recommended)
Sound: DirectX 9 compliant, 5.1 surround optional

I based these roughly off of Assassin's Creed PC, which is more demanding graphically than Halo 3. Of course, with Halo ports and their reputation for spitting on system requirements, it doesn't hurt to up-shoot.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Yeah, those sound realistic, compared to these
Most PCs arent Tri Core.

PCs don't get Tri Core, Quad Core is good, and they getting cheap, AMD = cheap.
ram is going cheap too.
windows 7 64 bit rules, I hope Halo 3 PC will have everything that was Halo on Xbox 360.

1. AMD makes the phenom ii x3.
2. AMD and intel are coming out with 6 core desktop cpus, though server hardware is already out and pricey, you need to be ultra hard core to have one of those.
3. PCs are getting more and more powerful, so it may be higher. But we will see when it comes out.

PCs don't get Tri Core

I use a Phenom 8400. That's a triple-core processor.

woops. I would've thought they go in doubles...lol.
its as though this Graphics card was "built" for Halo 3 PC.
ATi Eyefinity - videos of it in action.

ATi Specs from ATi.
released after Windows 7.

imagine Halo 3 PC on all those monitors, or as 2560x1600,
2560x1600 would be enough for me. :D

I wonder if they'll keep split-screen in this time?

i saw all over the net that halo 3 is never comming to pc.

also that halo wars is never comming to pc
this is stupid. did u know that they had help from the ppl who made age of empires to make halo wars.

so with no halo 3 or halo wars then the chances of halo odst are pretty slim as well.

we should totally make a thread in protest to this unfairness.

kind of like a petition.

Heres the thing, though.
There is also rumors it is coming to pc. After all, there were also rumors about GoW pc, until it was proven real.
Oh, and Halo 2 didnt come to pc until Halo 3 was close to release.

E4web

x86 --> PPC --> x86

I foresee many long, arduous years of development time.
