Subject: Is it even possible

A wise man once saw a weed struggling to grow under a rock, one month later he returned to see the weed flourishing, only to put the rock back on top of the weed (dooming it), when his his advisors asked why he he simply exclaimed; "That was its fate."

Think.

I made it alost all gold skulls slaso (no assasins tho) high charity to the one last before end battle with the flood and coveant in the prophets chaber.

I moved the elevator down for 5 secs thinking let flood soften up covies and come in at the perfect time. I get a checkpoint and as it turns out covanent died a long time ago, all the flood are waiting for me.(Bpr and 5 carbine shots)

I'm stuck.

about 20 flood, all invisible and have good guns, 3 snipers. after 30 minutes I can't pass it. I believe it is impossible to beat this.

please share with me your wisdom

I'm not sure how wise this is with your parameters there, but I have a pretty decent little trick for that area. Exiting the large platform elevator, I immediately jump onto one of those floor formations (left side ), and jump up into the "doorway" in what would effectively be the 2nd floor. Go to the back of that doorway (the Flood will spawn in front of you, but won't notice unless you address them. From up high, you can dictate the battle a little, and at least have some cover. This might be tough since you've already let the battle start, but, maybe try it next time.

I guess there is no hope.

Don't give up.
I have been through so many situ's that seemed impossible.
It may take some novelty or time, but, I believe there is a solution.
Find it.
That's what makes a true Haloer.
Find the way.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

Its possible, depending on your luck, skill, and faith. Don't give up, at least there are no elite ultras to hush you.

Have you tried quickly suiciding ~5 times to get back a checkpoint?

Try to use Envy, while running up to the closest ledge jump into it, go to the very back, wait to hear the sound that the active camoflauge ability has recharged, then quickly stealth run to the other ledge.

Then after running to the other spawn corridor up the ledge, try to carefully time a stealth dash to the far door at the end of the room, crouch or something, and hope that nothing see's you while the doors slowly open.

You will probably be frustrated, as it can be tricky to get up those ledges, and active camoflauge lasts roughly 5 seconds.

For an odd tip, if you have time, you can destroy the panels holding the floating pillars, the best way to desttoy them is to melee them I think, they can offer some cover, just don't get crushed when they fall.

Blackeye is a big ass problem. It's one of the main reasons why Cody Miller nor anyone else has ever beaten H2 SLASO. The Armory skull sucks because all enemies will automatically turn in your direction, even with Envy on, so when you uncloak they are all looking at you. Then, to top it off, the Grunts and Brutes toss nades by the dozen with Catch on. Bottom line, death.

Edit: Nestegg, you asked about the trigate in another thread but I will have to dbl post there to show you so I'll post it here. It's definately odd looking, for a texture glitch (if that's what it is). Check back here later after I'm done uploading.

Trigate
