Poll: Should there be aim acceleration in Halo:Reach? [closed]
Total Votes: 36
THIS TOPIC IS NOT ABOUT AUTO AIM
For those who aren't familiar with the term, aim acceleration was introduced to the Halo franchise with Halo 3 and makes it so you turn faster the longer you hold down the stick. It's very annoying because your turn/look starts out slow, and builds up speed, forcing the player to compensate for the constantly changing sensitivity.
Halo CE and Halo 2 didn't have aim acceleration, and they didn't need it. The only purpose it serves is to make aiming needlessly frustrating when other popular shooters, including past Halo games take the logical route with a constant turn/look speed. No aim acceleration makes the game less frustrating for everything, and with Halo: Reach getting a new engine, I am a strong supporter of it getting taken out.
