MUSIC
Halo 1 - brilliant
Halo 2 - cheesy
Halo 3 - average
Halo Wars - great
Halo 3 ODST - great
Cheesy? No it isn't.Yes it was.
I respect your opinion, but I personally think halo 2 had better music than the rest of the trilogy, granted many were remixes, but they were good. (unlike the average, overkill of direct remakes of halo CE songs in halo 3, some were good, but it had hardly anything new, or even any halo 2 songs)
However, when it comes down to those two songs, Blow me Away, and Follow, you may be right, but I don't think it was that bad, given bungie used that songs at the right moment in the game, while doing their best to tone down the vocals in the game.
Anyway, Halo 2 has a bigger variety of songs, some are average, many are good, but if anything, I praise Bungie for trying to add variety to the soundtrack, they weren't flawless with the song choices, like they did with halo CE's soundtrack, but they did try very hard with halo 2's music, and as of such, it has a few gems in it's soundtrack, that you don't hear in any other games right now. (songs like Peril, In Amberclad, and High Charity)
I agree with you, Halo 2 hhave only 2 or 3 PARTIAL remakes.
and the most emotional and epic song belong to Halo 2, because that game have a very deep emotional and intense story.
I will never forget songs like Unforgotten, Mjolnir Mix, Mombasa suite and Epilogue.
