Ok so pretty much anybody who doesn't suck has seen the legendary ending to Halo 3, right? I have read all the books, so I know the whole deal with Reach and everything, just letting everybody know. Ok, so at the end of Halo 3, for like, 10 seconds, you see the torn up half of Master Chief's ship slowly floating around a planet, right? Nobody really knows what planet this is. Some people say it is the planet from the Marathon games, which i guess could make sense, seeing as though they are tied together some how, i think. But anyways, so i just watched the video again, and i said "wait a minute." Am i the only one who thinks that it is a possibility that that planet is a glassed over Reach? Although that my idea has NOTHING to do with the new Halo Reach game, which I am extremely excited to play the beta for, I think its just an interesting thought.

I am pretty sure here not just gonna leave it there, they have to put something in REACH that will ne related to Halo 3, or even a Halo 4..lol

if that was the glassed reach then there wouldnt be signs of life on it like the lights from cities, the legendary ending and reach are two seperate planets, the only reason the did the legendary ending was to leave it open for a halo 4 if they ever wanted to make one, and right now they are not looking at making a halo 4

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Reach has no atmosphere since it was glassed, the Chief could only last on the planet for 90 minutes (because of his oxygen reserves) if it was the said planet.

"You can't touch music, but music can touch you."

It could be. Who knows but Bungie. This however only gives people false hope for a Halo 4.

Saying this from another reader of the halo novels. It's not reach. I know this because reach was a inner world. On earths doorstep. Not anywhere near the ark.
