I don't know if all of them should come back, but it would be funny to see that same kind of game play in Reach.lol, what do you guys think?

Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

Dunno. It really depends on all the other variables: map size, player speed, shields, shield recharge, team sizes, vehicle health..yup.

But I will vouch that if they do what you bring up, that the pistol should not be able to kill a tank. [Alt +1]

It should be balanced and different weapons, if Bungie can do that will it be a great game.

Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position that argues that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

Put simply in the words of Nietzsche as "the will to nothingness".

Like in combat evolved with the magnum taking out banshees or the plasma rifle freeze on a tank, that's a little over-powering.

Human Weapons:

Pistol, eh I haven't minded any of the different pistol variations.

Assault Rifle, Yes Please! The Halo 1 AR made you feel like a B.A.M.F. In Halo 3 it felt weak, and scrawny.

Rocket Launcher, I liked it in Halo 2 Personally.

Sniper Rifle, Night vision = epic.

Shotgun, I like the power of the shotgun itself, but I think that it should have a bit more kick, and slow the beat down response.

Flame Thrower, Should be in Halo: Reach, and the same way as in Halo: 3.

Missle Pod, keep it the same as Halo: 3.

Chain Gun, same as Halo: 3.

Not sure if the SMG, BR, or Spartan Laser is even gonna be seen in Halo: Reach, I wouldn't mind either way, even though the SMG is one of my favorite guns.

Covenant Weapons:

Plasma Rifle, Yes please. It felt really really strong in Halo 1, rest of the games not so much. ( Probably cause of dual wielding balance though.)

Plasma Pistol, Same thing as the plasma rifle.

Needler, Homing I would like to be upgraded but, I still like it in Halo 3.

Beam Rifle, I liked it better in Halo 2, not sure about what the problem is.

Carbine, All around for what type of gun it is, I like it a lot.

Fuel Rod, Nothing to change.

Sword, same as Halo 3.

Brute Weapons, I would rather not see these weapons considering Halo lore, but if Bungie would have use fighting all of the covie aliens including Brutes, and Engineers I would be totally fine. The more enemies the better. :)

Misc:

Grenades, I personally like all of them the way they are in Halo 3. Maybe a bit more power to the frag but that's it.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME GROUP INVITATIONS

The Halo REACH Script (post thoughts in thread)

Writing Lead of Whisper Studios. Check out Heron!

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

To take into account the power levels, there will be no dual wielding. Also NO melee lunge. Melees would be like in Halo 1 (where you actually had to aim them).

UNSC
Sniper Rifle. SRS99D-S2 AM. Same as in Halo 1 with NV in multiplayer, and slightly slower rate of fire like in Halo 3. LED scope from Halo 2. 5x, 10x scopes.

Stanchion Gauss Rifle. M99 SPecial Applications Scoped Rifle. Same power as the Spartan Laser (1HK on most vehicles), but the shot would need to be lead. There would be no charge time but to balance it there would be limited ammo, no auto aim, a slow rate of fire (overheat after every shot), and every shot would drain your energy shields fully. 2x, 5x scopes.

Battle Rifle. BR-55 Prototype. Essentially a re-skinned Halo 1 Pistol with the same range and accuracy (single-shot, not burst fire), but it would take 5 headshots to kill rather than the M6D's 3. 3x scope.

Pistol. M6C/SOCOM. Same range as in Halo 1 if fired slowly, if fired quick range is cut in half. Silenced. 2x scope.

Assault Rifle. MA5K. Fired full auto it is as inaccurate as in Halo 1. If pulsed the range is 2x, 3x, or 4x depending on how long the pulse is. If single shotted, the range is the same as a slow-fired Halo 1 Pistol. Same sound as in Halo 1. 2x scope.

Rocket Launcher. Same as in Halo 1 in terms of speed and melee, but with the splash damage of Halo 2's Rocket. Unlike the Rockets in Halo 1, 2, and 3, this one would have absolutely NO aim assist. 2x scope.

Silenced SMG. M7/S. Would gain a total revamp to make it different than the AR. The ROF would be increased as would the barrel climb, turning it into essentially a silenced Uzi optimized for close range combat. Pulsed it has range to match the AR.

Shotgun. M90. Same range and power as in Halo 1, with muzzle climb on each successive shot, and the same magazine size (6) as in Halo 3.

Flamethrower. M7057 Defoliant Projector. It should be more like a realistic flamethrower. It would no longer be a Support weapon, and would have its damage slightly reduced. It would operate similarly to in Halo PC but with more range, similar to the COD: WaW or GoW 2 flamethrowers, making it more realistic and reliable.

COVENANT
Beam Rifle. Identical to in Halo 2 but with auto aim levels equal to the human Sniper in this game. Thermal vision instead of Night vision. 2x, 10x scopes.

Carbine. Similar to the Battle Rifle, but with spread on it when shot fast. It would take more shots to kill than with the BR (7), but it would stun on head and chest shots. 2x scope.

Plasma Rifle. Same as Halo 1's, but with stun only on headshots this time around. The range would be increased for single shots to match the MA5K. 2x scope.

Spiker Rifle. Total revamp. As a single wieldable, it would have similar range to the Plasma Rifle. It would fire slightly faster than the PR, and would be able to nail opponents to walls if you kill them against one.

Fuel Rod Cannon. Same as in Halo PC, but with a quicker overheat rate and less battery. 3x scope.

Needler. Same as in Halo 3's in terms of its homing and projectile speed, but it would take an extra 3 shots to kill. The explosion would be more similar to Halo 1's (a few smaller explosions) rather than Halo 3's single killing explosion. The needles while in the air would look larger and darker so you could strafe them more easily.

Brute Shot. Would have the arcing shot from Halo 2, but the power and magazine from Halo 3. It should be made more consistent (larger blast radius, weaker damage?) online than it was in both games before. The grenades should not explode mid air as they did in Halo 3.

Plasma Pistol. Identical to Halo 1's, but with the charge depletion and EMP from Halo 3.

Gravity Hammer. No lunge on this one. It would have a concentratced cone of destructive gravity, with more range than in Halo 3, shot out in front of it when swung. If aimed at the floor it would allow for much higher jumps, without damaging you, making it a more unique weapon.

Energy Sword. The only weapon with a melee lunge. Lunge equal to the Halo 3 level. Same with its power. With the upped damage to all other weapons, you would run slightly faster with the Sword equipped than with another weapon.

Mauler. Similar to in Halo 3, only with a much quicker rate of fire and no barrel climb, as opposed to the new Shotgun.

FORERUNNER
Sentinel Beam. Identical to in Halo 3 but with stun similar to the Plasma Rifle's, and faster overheat. The Sentinel Beam would push enemies if they are in the air.

Vancouver BC, Canada.

It all depends on which weapons you're talking about.

The Pistol should be tuned down a bit and everything else seems to play right for me.
