I am pretty hopeful that Elites will return in Halo: Reach. Not as allies of course, but as enemies. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Elites, but they are so much cooler to fight then gorilla's, uh, I mean Brutes. What does everyone else think?

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

Yeah, as enemies they should. The Plot of the battle of Reach happened before Halo CE, and the Elites were the main arm of the attack on Reach. As well, they need to return to the more elegant look they had in Halo 2 and CE, not the bulky look they have now. I think that look balanced better into Halo's Multiplayer. The Beta also needs to include Elites so both player models get a nice good test.

yeah, definetly. I doubt it, but I hope they creat an Elite side campaign similar to the Arbiter in Halo 2.

I agree, Elite's looked better in Halo 2 than Halo 3. Not graphicly of course, but their shape and movements were more alien. I can't wait to see how they make them in Reach. I am looking forward to a Reach Live Action Trailer. Bungie did it for halo 3 and Halo: ODST so they need to do one for Halo;Reach. Hopefully that one will include Spartans and Elites. Maybe even a Grunt!
