Basically, all the things you don't like about it was all the stuff Bungie told you beforehand. It wasn't like any of that was a big surprise. Bungie told us that we were going to be weaker than a Spartan, Bungie told us that it was going to be dark and lonely (Remember the Demo at E3? That also showed the "Annoying outline" on everything), Bungie told us it was a short campaign, and the AI is a whole lot smarter than Halo 3. All of that was told to you months before the launch, and you still pre-ordered it. Did Bungie tell us that this character wouldn't be able to dual wield? Did Bungie tell us that the character would be Psychic? Firefight is fun. I played it after my initial post and it was indeed fun for about 2 hours. How does the rookie see everything that his squad mates have been through unless he's psychic. Hogwash - pure hogwash.
Yes, I believe Bungie did say that the ODSTs don't dual wield. They were taking it back to Halo's roots. Which, obviously you wouldn't remember considering all likely evidence points to you only playing Halo 3.
Also, where the hell did you get the idea that the Rookie is psychic? He doesn't see what the other team members did during their missions. The whole point of the Rookie is that he's trying to FIND his squad. He's searching New Mombasa for clues about their location. Obviously finding a sniper rifle means that Romeo was probably in the area. Or close to it. Seeing the burned Oni Alpha Site makes him realize that something big happened there. He searches Mombasa for clues until he hears Dare on the comm. Then he heads for the Data Hive.
The Rookie isn't psychic. He doesn't see those flashbacks, YOU DO. It lets YOU put the pieces together by giving YOU the story of what happened through the squad's eyes.
Good lord. And you have the nerve to call everybody else stupid for disagreeing with you?
Go read a damn book. Get that IQ up a bit and you might actually be a respectable addition to a forum. I doubt it, but I believe in miracles.
No matter what you do, stop being a damn troll and let it go.
Skillet, Skillet, Skillet..... How sad I feel for you. Completely involved in a game world, oblivious to the world around you, no real skills, incapable of being a productive member of society, complacent in your pathetic virtual half-baked life. I am an avid reader my friend. I am also an Author, and if I had submitted a half-baked idea such as the Halo ODST story to my publisher she would have thrown it in the trash faster than you can lick Bungie's boot after they kicked you in the face. Sorry I upset you. Now don't you think you should call mommy so that she can change your diaper?
