I know this is a year late but I really want to attack the game length -blam!-ing which it out of control in our nerdceity. Story based non sandbox games take on average between 4 to 7 hours and without getting into a I'm so important -blam!- measureing fest i've got better things to do then play 30 hours of linear single player story. I think we have a messed up perception from our childhood based on a few things, Games were poorly programed and have repeditive levels, we were kids and didn't have jobs/cars so we couldn't buy/rent games when we wanted, not that many games came out so we had to stick with games for a while and good parents ussual didn't let us grind out on a game for hours on end.
I really think that even as a kid, I was never allowed to play games for excessive long hours. Today the gaming world has come a very long way since Atari & Coleco. But if you like many others who thinks ODST is great, then lucky you but the clown who has no idea of the value of a dollar, needs to grow up.
