Yours was shipped back from Nashville??? thats weird, mine says it is being shipped back from Memphis, what does that mean??? new console??? cus looking at the time since i sent my xbox i dont there was enough time for it to get to mesquite and then to memphis in time for it to get fixed already
Sorry, Memphis is where mine is coming from too. I just didn't check before posting. Either way I think I may be getting a different console back.

Anyways, I doubt its a new console, otherwise the status of the repair on service.xbox.com would reflect a new serial right? Anyone clarify on this?...Anyways, if I were a person with this error, I would seriously reconsider sending my console to Microsoft. If I had this to do over, I'd just eat the 200 bucks and buy another Xbox. I'm starting to think of them as having a 1.5 year expiration date...
The serial number on service.xbox.com just says the s/n of the console submitted for repair, so I don't think it would reflect a new console s/n. I'll compare mine when it arrives today. I may just buy a new MW2 LE console later this week and sell my bro or friend my old xbox for $100, and just give them ODST with it. That way I'll have a cool, quiet, Jasper chip and 250GB of storage space and a superior game than ODST with it. ;) J/K (for the most part...)

Hey.
Got my repair, after some yelling and arguing on the phone, she had to put me on hold 3 times and eventually said she was sending me a label. My only fear is that she took my e-mail address wrong. Does anyone have any idea how quickly they got the e-mail?
I never got emails about it. I just went to service.xbox.com and found the "Check repair status" link and then the shipping label was printable from there. They've never "sent" me one before a repair. I always had to go online and locate it myself.
