ALTOIDS RULE
So i was just looking around on kotaku today after beating ODST on Legendary, when i came up on this article that had a list of games that should be presenting during The Tokyo Game Show. and guess what? Halo: Reach is on the list!
Many other sites have reported the same thing, and if halo reach is following ODST or Halo 3's Marketing schedule, it is logical for M$/Bungie to show another trailer or video, or ANYTHING new related to Reach at TGS!
Now, the Tokyo Game Show is going to be from Sept 24th-27th.
I would bet my unused SGT Johnson Firefight code that bungie will show the new Reach Trailer (?) on the 25th of September, just like they did last year for ODST as a homage to the 1 year aniversery of Halo 3.
More logical reasoning to help back my theory that this Reach Trailer(?) will be released to the public on the 25th is that..
Well Basically I dont think bungie wanted to announce Halo: Reach at E3. Why? Well for one, the trailer is not their style..
Lets take a look back in time...
2002-Halo 2 Announcement- Trailer featured Master Chief jumping onto a Covie Ship attacking/orbiting Earth.
2006-Halo 3 Announcement- Trailer Featured MC arriving at the Ark Portal, Which activates.
2008-Halo 3: ODST announcement- Trailer Featured the Rookie crashing and waking up in a covie controlled New Mombassa.
Each of these announcement trailers clearly defined the story and setting of the games they were announcing.
On the otherhand, the Reach Trailer was a pretty half-a$$ed one, being very vague on the characters and settings of the game.. I think the only reason M$/bungie announced Reach then was so they could announce and advertise the Beta Invitation for it being included on ODST, therefore driving sales of ODST. Other wise they would have to say:
"Hey e3, when you buy ODST, you will get a beta invitation to our next secret project which we cant tell you about yet!"
That would be retarded and bad marketing.
So therefore they made the half-a$$ed trailer, and are planning to show the full REAL announcement trailer in a couple days at TGS!
sorry for slight wall of text..
