Not exactly 100 spartans, there were 70 something, most of them were wiped out when the augmentation came, when there bones, reaction times, everything was enhanced, only around 30 made it, and like 5 were abnormal, twisted bones and all.
What I know:
Reach is (Or was) the UNSC's main headquarters and biggest shipyard builder.
It is also where the Spartan 2 project subjects were trained and given their augmentations. Sort of like their home, if you will.
The Spartans were chosen among other children, and were abducted (taken) and replaced with identical clones.
Yes, and all of these clones were made to be killed in unsuspicious manners. I believe one of them was hit by a truck. This was done to hide the true fate of the children.
Master Chief (John) lived on Eridanus (Can't remember Number or the last bit), and was taken by a Doctor named "Halsey".
John is number 117 :)
The Spartan program was successful until Reach was destroyed by the Covenant, most ships were lost, but in the beginning of Halo 1, it shows the Pillar of Autumn escaping.
Yes, and conveinently to a Halo Installation which Cortana plays to be coincidence when in fact she purposely when against Cole Protocol and followed info from a Covenant Ship. This is when the Flood, who had been destroyed millions of years ago when the Rings were fired for the only known time in history. Some Flood samples were contained in this Halo installation and a Covenant ship crashed into the lab, releasing the flood.
The Covenant believe a race called the "Forerunners" were an ancient race who lived long ago. They lived happily, and thought they were safe until they discovered the Flood. They built Ring-Worlds, called Halo, which sustained the Flood. The rings were built to trigger some supernova stuff, and could only be fired from the Ark.
Not true. The rings could be activated from their own terminals. But only one ring could be activated at once using this method. In example you could set off Installation 1 from Installation 1's terminal. But the only way all 7 Installations could be set off at once was from the Ark, that is true.
Harvest was a peaceful Colony, and was the first place Humans encountered the covenant, which were Brutes (Oddly).
Harvest was attacked after UNSC tried to start a comm link (Talk to them).
In Halo: Combat Harvest (The book), it tells the story of Sergeant Johnson on Harvest, working with a lady, only discovering she is a Lieutenant Colonel, or something, and they fall in love. The brutes talk to the mayor, the mayor gives a pineapple as a token of appreciation or something, so yea.
ave never read this book. But i know Johnson is the only human, other than MC, known to survive contact with the Flood though.
Thats bout it, I know more, like what the Spartans did while growing up, The books explain most, especially Halo: Fall of Reach, must of read it like 20 times XD.
Halo:Reach focuses alot on the early years of the Spartans. This is why I believe there are chances for MC to have roles in it. The book did not just show the battle of Reach. So i doubt the game will.
PS. Bold lettering are info I have added onto his original post. I am impressed with what he know, and felt like I could add on to help the Thread along. If you need to know anymore, I will try to help.
