Seriously, youve milked enough money from us from buying all your new games and such, just let the series end on a high, instead of seeing how much you can make from this.

I'm not a fanboy (been bashing halo 3 a lot) but you're wrong.
as long as the quality doesn't decrease, they should go on.

besides, yea, there is so few halo games :
H1 H2 H3 ODST HW. (the last 2 can't be considered "real" halo games, one is a totally different genre and the other an addon). that makes 3 games.

look at :
metal gear solid : 6 games (not counting portable games).
resident evil : 10+ games
final fantasy : 20+ games
CoD : 6 games
THEY are milked, compared to halo.

moar milked game :
street fighter : over 9000 + re-edited versions and arcades etc
zelda : ~10
metroid : ~6
pokemon : a lot
sport games (madden, FIFA, NHL, NBA, whatever) : way too many, one of each per year
mario games : 10+

compare that to the puny 3 halo games...

I'm not a Bungie fanboy here and I also agree that Bungie is in a way doing that but i can't say that's 100% true. While Bungie does have the tendency to milk out as much money and still not deliver These new games they realesing is kinda like them trying out new games. I have not played Halo3 ODST yet beause my xbox is broke and he games sitting there but it's not the usual Halo from what i can tell. One thing I think is wrong with any game is that when your release new content for a game that you have to pay even more for it, and Bungie more recently has made downloading their content more than nessecary to play any matchmaking. New content is stuff that i think should've been in the game in the first place, i paid my money now i need to spend more? either drastically cut the prices or better yet make it free.

it certainly is not a full game. all it has is a 6 hour long campaign and firefight. the main element (mp) is the same as H3's...

The halo Universe still has alot of secrets so Bungie should carry on making halo games for e.g. what happened to the chief of the legendary ending of halo 3 when the arbiters side of the frigate made it through the portal did MC's side of the ship reverse through the portal and go back in time to reach so the chief knows how to stop the covenant finding earth and stopping the halo array?

ah, a time traveler. didn't see one for a long time.

here's why it can not work :

1 the story goes as normal, MC travels back in time as you think. he stops the humanity from discovering the halo rings and modify the course of time. so he never goes back on the ark. either humans loose the war or win, doesn't matter.

2 since MC couldn't go on the ark (since he changed the storyline), he could not go back in time. then how could he possibly warn humanity and change the storyline if he didn't travel back in time?

see #1 again. it's a neverending loop. and this is called a "time paradox".
there are problems with EVERY SINGLE ONE time travel theories, they just can't work. there is always a paradox.

While I think sending MC back in time for Reach is a bad idea on pretty much every level, I contest you. There are two possibilities that come with going back in time and changing the past: paradoxes (as you enthusiastically stated) and alternate universes. :D
