This is the full weapon set I would like in Halo: REACH (no dual wielding, melee lunge only on the Sword):
Stanchion Gauss Rifle. Replacing the laser. As strong as the laser, but you would need to lead your shots. Since there's no charge, its shot would require all the power from your shields. No splash damage. 3x scope.
SRS99C-S2 AM Sniper Rifle. Like Halo 1. Night vision. 2x, 10x scopes.
BR55-X Battle Rifle Prototype. Single shot. Like Halo 1 Pistol, but a 5 shot kill instead of 3 shot kill. 2x scope.
MA5K Assault Rifle. Like Halo 1 when fired auto. When pulsed, range is made 2x, 3x, or 4x more depending on how long you hold the trigger. Single shot as accurate as Halo 1 Pistol, but much slower and weaker. 2x scope.
M19SSM Rocket Launcher. Like Halo 1 but with absolutely NO aim assist, and a smaller (Halo 2-level) blast radius. 2x scope.
M6C/SOCOM Pistol. Either remove the barrel climb and keep the kill speed slow, or keep the barrel climb and make it a 6 shot kill. Silenced. 2x scope.
M7/S Silenced SMG. Redesign it to make it operate more like an Uzi. Less ammo, quicker rate of fire, less range. No scope. Silenced.
M90 Shotgun. Like Halo 1, but with 6 shots/magazine, and barrel jump after each shot.
M7057 Flamethrower. Like in Halo PC but with more range (like in real life/gears of war 2/call of duty: world at war). No longer a support weapon.
Beam Rifle. Like in Halo 2 but with as little aim assist as the Halo 1 Sniper. Thermal vision. 5x, 10x scopes.
Carbine. Redesign. To make it different than the BR it would be much less accurate if fired fast, but could also kill in 3 headshots rather than the BR's 5. It would have overpenetration (shots go through bodies) unlike the BR. 2x scope.
Fuel Rod Gun. Like in Halo PC, but with less battery. 2x scope.
Plasma Rifle. Like in Halo 1, but with stun ONLY on headshots. Less accurate if fired in full auto. Essentially the same range as the MA5K Assault Rifle. 2x scope.
Needler. Like in Halo 3, but with 2 extra shots needed to kill. Midair Needles should be darker so its easier to strafe.
Brute Shot. Like in Halo 3, but more consistent, and grenades would not explode midair. Bring back the arc from Halo 2.
Spiker. Like the Covenant version of the new SMG. Can nail enemies to walls if you kill them against one.
Plasma Pistol. Like in Halo 1, but with the EMP and battery drain from Halo 3.
Energy Sword. Like in Halo 3. Only weapon with lunge. To make up for the other weapons all being useful, the Sword should make you run slightly (not noticably) faster when you have it equipped as opposed to another weapon.
Gravity Hammer. Redesign. No lunge. Concentrated cone of gravity when you swing. Can be used to substantially boost (and in turn cushion your falls) your jumps by 2x-4x (?) if you swing at the ground when you're in the air.
Mauler. Like in Halo 3, but not dual wieldable. Larger magazine capacity, and no reticle climb (like the human Shotgun has) to make them different.
Sentinel Beam. Like in Halo 3, but could push enemies if they're in the air. Would stun if you hit them in the head.
