I was thinking about how it's fun to go in on easy and just completely own all the covies, then I got the idea of maybe having cheats. I haven't thought it out to much but I think it would work like this.

It wouldn't just be straight forward cheats like Invincibility and Unlimited ammo, it would be more like the custom games settings option choices. For example you could set the Chief to have 300% speed, 75% gravity, 4x overshields, etc. etc.

You could basically set it to make it as easy or as hard as you want. Also you could do it for each enemy too. This would allow you to make the most pitiful enemies ever, or the toughest badasses ever. You could set all the same options that you could for the Chief but for each enemies so you could have whatever options for Grunts, Jackals, Elites (assuming they're the enemy), Drones, and whatever other enemies are in the game.

You could also set amount of marines you get with alongside the mission with you. This number would be limited to whatever number Halo: Reach could handle to prevent whatever problems go wrong with stuff like that (I don't know too much about games and their limits) You could also set the options for them too, making them hardcore badasses like Johnson, or pitifully weak and useless like they normally are.

There would also just be standalone cheats like God Mode (Able to forge in the mission, I don't know if this is possible, but it would be cool) No reload (never have to reload your gun) and maybe others that I just can't think of right now.

For those standalone cheats, I think you should unlock them by finding in game collectables like the skulls. I think the options should just be unlocked from the beginning. If you have a better idea feel free to voice it.

Of course when you change a single option, wether or not it makes the game harder or easier. All achievements are disabled, any skulls or in-game unlockables will not count (If you find a skull while any options are changed it will not give you the achievement for getting it, or say you unlocked it and allow you to activate it in other games you play until you find it without any options changed)

Also you can play with these cheats/options on any difficulty.

That's all I can think of for know, let me know wether you agree/disagree with me, or have any suggestions.

No... Just no...

Halo has gone without any cheats whatsoever, for three games, and it has stood out as being amazing. You've already got skulls, and I believe that's enough.

No? You wouldn't enjoy making it so you can do pretty much whatever in campaign?

I'm not saying that Halo isn't amazing or anything but I just thought it would be a good idea if you want to be able to be a super spartan, or make the ultimate challenge.

Thanks for not flaming the idea.
