Nowadays, devs mostly focus on online then multiplayer, so better be disapointed with this one.
Actually, that isn't true. Halo 3's campaign had a larger team than the multiplayer portion. Like 2/3 of the team focused on the campaign. It's just that graphics and set pieces take up so much time these days, and repetition is looked down on for FPS games, despite being prevalent in platformers. You also have to factor in difficulty settings. Games are becoming easier to appeal to a broader audience.
