They tried to make the games balanced. In all actuality read the books. That plasma pistol was a killer. The books make the most sense.

Hello. I live in a very small town called "drewark". I enjoy outdoors and music

have you even used one

And the M6D and M6C/S can't do crap on Covenant shields. The BR can, however. The UNSC couldn't go without having a weapon that has at least a little chance at killing an elite.

And the Halo 1 weapons weren't the original weapon set or anything. They were just what was given to the Marines aboard a Joke-class cruiser.

Kill them all & let god sort them out

hahah. I am almost positive that a alien spieces that is capable of flying 50 million light years to to the Human Solar system, has weopons capabilities that far surpass humans who have been advanced for only 500 years not 7000 years. A huge arsenal of 100 times more advanced aresenal than a speices( humans) who can barely travel a few planets from its home planet (Earth). Also Humans Nuclear weopons do not work in space. There is no air in space so the nuclear weopon will simply hit its target blow up and do no damage. Nukes only work in atmospeheres. Humans in reality could never beat a massive advanced alien speices of some 500 million soldiers and weoponry. Though to make a good game Bungie has to be merciful to Humans.

True! The games are great and I love them all, but some times things don't always make sense in the games or they contradict what made sense in some other games. The books, however can all be read and analysed in an extraordinary way and still the facts would make sense in all the books. BTW, they are awesome too! :D
PS: Halo: The Fall Of Reach was the first book I've read and, even after reading all the books, except Cryptum, which I am finishing, it's still my favorite (I just haven't finished Cryptum yet, because I'm 13 and I'm having quite a few exams this year, leaving me with fewer free time that normal. Gonna get it done, tho).

I agree with you on most things, except you forgot that, even though the covenant are much more advanced that the humans, we reverse engineered quite a lot of their technology, one of which, the shield system from the MJOLNIR armor, copied from the shielding system of Jackal's hand shields. Also, nukes CAN blow up in space. Look it up.

Armor Lock vs. Top Speed, Approaching Ghost = Super Awesome!

Don't forget that in Halo 2 the Covenant deployed a massive Bug called "Scarab", which could only be destroyed by boarding it and killing everything aboard, and later on (Halo 3) they downgraded it so that now you could destroy it even without boarding it. Same for Phantoms, first you had Spirits, which were completely indestructible, then (Halo 2) you have the new Phantoms, which can't be destroyed, but the weapons can. Then (Halo 3) the whole design was downgraded! Now you CAN kill Phantoms! Let's not forget of course, about the completely useless camouflage! First you had a 100% working one, then a silhouette could be seen, later on you were completely invisible, only when standing still, if you moved an inch, you could be completely seen. It's like the Covenant and the Humans agreed to make things worse for both sides! xD
