Fail. Every grenade now has a purpose, a nice, pretty specific purpose.
Frag: Clearing away shields. Exclusively anti-personnel
Plasma: Main Anti-Vehicle, can stick to enemies, and kill if they are right above it when it's on the ground. Takes away sheilds over a small area of effect
Spike: Mix of Anti-Vehicle and Anti-Personnel. Damages enemies in small rooms, and if used properly can kill, Sticks to enemies.
Firebomb: Not in MM, but is Exclusively anti-personnel. Does very little damage to vehicles, and must be stuck onto the enemy in order to kill.
In other words, all these grenades do damage. In fact, every weapon in halo is meant to do damage. Equipment is as close to the cheesey arcadey weapons asyou get, and even then, they either Hurt, Heal, Or Protect. IMO, bungie should stay with the basic platform they've been using successfully since CE, and not have arcadey weapons that slow people down or effect them in a similar way.
