And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

Halo 3 MM has one major flaw. This flaw has been trumpeted across the Halo Fan base nearly since the game Came out, That Flaw is the Bullet Registration.

Bullet registration in Halo 3 is, to say the least, terrible. For evidence, read the threads about it on the H3 forums. There have been quite a few informational, well thought out, non-angry posting troll kiddie threads.

This needs to improve for Reach. If I could point to ONE thing that makes MM frustrating and ruins the MM experience, it would be bullet registration. Lag, we can understand, not Bungies fault. Glitches, hiding, camoing, it comes with a game. Poor map design, poor gametypes? Well, they're fun for some people. I can understand those. Hell, I can even forgive poop spawns, as it's hard to make a perfect spawn system. But put me in a game with bad bullet registration? Inexcusable. AR's don't make a newb better. Camping doesn't change the game. What does allow a newb to get kills he shouldn't have, and what DOES change a game, it shots not counting whent they need to. This is what changes a games experience.

so please Bungie. Make it happen.

Shameless plug for my blog:

Check it!

I have noticed it too, it wasn't a major problem for me until I wanted to play a bit more seriously, then it gets damn annoying. Combine that with lag of living in Australia and you're in for some trouble.

I think another improvement for MatchMaking would be dedicated servers, that way lag wouldn't be a problem for people outside of the US. Although I would certainly miss playing with my US and UK cousins (who are often much more talkative and fun), it would be nice for a more competitive player like myself to have more of a chance in Matchmaking.

Every time someone in the UK gets host early in the morning, I feel your pain. It really does just compound the issues. As lond as dedicated servers wouldn't negatively effect my experience, which I highly doubt they would, I would see that as a major improvement.
