-Using iron sights on guns
-Sprint ability
-Louder gun noises (more satisfying then the soft, plasticy noises of the current ones.)
-More UNSC weapon types and variant weapons.
-Ability to turn of assassinations and melee in custom games.

Tell Bungie to consider these plz.

in addition to the sprint option, i think it would be great if you could hold any direction when you jumped and your spartan would jump the furthest possible in that direction. Instead of the arc jump we are some common to now, i see it like a lunge to the side out of the path of a ghost splatter.

and for the unsc weapons how about some kind of forerunner/covenant prototype gun from the humans? you know ONI has to have something....

That would be cool, but I think it would be cool if there was a more accurate machine gun for the UNSC then the assault rifle, with an iron sight, so it feels more intense.

1 : what's the point? sniper and br (th only weapons that actually require precise aiming) are dead precise already.
4 : they already have more weapons than covenants.

I agree with the rest. particularly #3

So in otherwords, you want it to be like COD?

Keep the sprinting and iron sights for them.

1. Well, it would make for more immersive gameplay. You'd feel like your actually holding a powerful weapon which your using with precision and skill, and it would make it more realistic (Not that it's supposed to be a realistic game, but it's not like there's actually a magic cross-air helping them aim.). I feel that iron sights add intensity to gameplay, like in COD. That's one of the things COD has over Halo IMO.

2. But it's nice to have a variety of familiar weapons rather then lots of unique, alien weapons a lot of the time. And I'm pretty sure there's more covenant weapons then UNSC, counting Brute weapons.

No, not be like COD. It's not like iron sight's are unique to COD, it's a basic component of guns. There's even iron sights on the SMG, yet you can't use them. Don't you wish you could?

its not magic, the spartan/odst are wearing a helmet providing a HUD integrated with the weapon for a firing sight that is linked better than the sights on the gun

Exactly thats why we don't need iron sight.
Also we are talking 550 years in the future here so whats the need for iron sights although they could come in handy for a marine.

1 halo is more arcade than realistic (I mean any kind of realism)... so it wouldn't really fit. besides, all buttons are used already.

2 let's count :
flamethrower, missile pod, machinegun, smg, AR, BR, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, shotgun, magnum, spartan laser : 11.
plasma rifle, plasma pistol, needler, sword, hammer, plasma machinegun, fuel rod gun (doesn't even count since it's not in MM), sniper rifle, carbine, spiker and mauler : 11.

... same. I admit I'm surprised, I thought the difference was bigger.

How come the cross-air never changes position when the gun moves around? It's always fixed to the center, not all sparatns are going to be holding there gun perfectly so the bullets hit were that cross-air is, but they do in the game.
