Imagine if REACH was a class based FPS comparable to the different ordinances in Battlefield games that was played as a MMO. You could make the entire planet and surrounding space a playing field for the campaign, with players fighting constantly. Maybe you could have smaller units consisting of like-grouped spartans. Instead of it being an entire team of snipers it would be like majority snipers with some scouts, a couple medics, a one or two heavy weapons. then that would be your team that is given a specific mission within the bigger scale battle. there would have to be some kind of PvP events though, how do you think that would work out?
The elite could be an unlock-able class! (yeah someone will hate me for saying that)
and since fresh material is always needed in MMO's they could do a prologue sequel that has you fighting on harvest as an ODST! but still with the pre-built class system.
you could even have class specific rank that represents your true skill with certain attributes, instead of just generalized overall rank.
