Just because it seems impossible
Does not mean it is not right.

Because they would have more time do make the game they should try to do.
1 disk for campaign(15-19 missions)
1 disk for forge(Amazing Forge Mode)
1 Disk for multiplayer(20-25 Maps*)

Do you like this idea?

* 20-25 Maps BEFORE DLC.

Mini Laze

Add forge and multiplayer disk together and perfecto!

Good news everyone i've developed a device that lets you hear my voice in your head. -Professor Farnsworth

they could all be on the same disk

  • 09.28.2009 6:08 PM PDT

3 disks? No.
2 Disks would probably be k.

However, the game should be awesome no matter what. Bungie made ODST in a year building off the Halo 3 engine and it kicked ass. And they've have almost 3 years for Reach made from scratch.

GT= Frost1691
No Group Invites.
Worst idea ever...http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=8664824

Make Forge and Multiplayer the same disc, so you can easily switch between Forge and then play custom games on the map you created. And then go to matchmaking and scream cuss words.

syrup,tomatoes,leminade,and halo 2

theyve already bean working on it for a while with 90% of the work force, and 3 discs?Thats a total waste.

  • 09.28.2009 6:13 PM PDT

Why not one huge 50 gig disc (may be exaggerated a bit.)

  • 09.28.2009 6:13 PM PDT

Um... I like Halo? I don't really know what to say. I'm a student at the moment, I hope to become a criminal profiler, and I enjoy pretty much everything as long as it's good.

We don't have blu-ray dude. Although this idea would be awesome.

Not if you consider it, 1 disc for each thing, and there all great,
God forbid you get up off the couch to change the disc for 30 seconds!

If there's gonna be disks I'd want it as all Campaign.

And one has Multiplayer.

as long as they dont release reach because they just want money or want to get over with making it.

Like ODST:

Disc One: Campaign and Firefight
Disc Two: Forge and Multiplayer

Yes, let's put a delay on a game that doesn't have a confirmed released day yet.

  • 09.28.2009 7:11 PM PDT

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

How about

Disk One:Campaign/Firefight/Theater

Disk Two:Forge/Custom Games/Theater

Disk Three:Matchmaking/Theater

  • 09.28.2009 7:26 PM PDT

Forge is technically multiplayer.

  • 09.28.2009 7:29 PM PDT

Why waste an entire disk on something that could be put on the same on as multiplayer? No.

  • 09.28.2009 7:31 PM PDT

Official Mongoose Splatter Count (as of September 13, 2009): 417

They started working on it shortly after Halo 3 was released. They've had about 3-4 years worth of time.

I agree. I hope they push back the date so they don't screw up reach like they did two and three. I also agree about the three disks. it would mean more space for us to do whatever the heck we want. if they pushed back the date and said it was gonna cost a hundred instead of sixty, i would still get this game without even watching the hype, because if the game gets pushed back i will know that bungie put thought into this and didn't want to rush it out just to make a few bucks.

  • 09.28.2009 7:37 PM PDT

Oh God, that would be the biggest FPS ever made.

  • 09.28.2009 7:56 PM PDT

Shameless plug for my blog:

Check it!

Disc 1 - Campaign/Firefight/theatre
Disc 2 - Forge/Matchmaking/Firefight Matchmaking/Theatre
Disc 3 - Bonus disc full of tidbits, like...the whole of the book on a disc...for reading?

Oh God, that would be the biggest FPS ever made.

As it should be. Bungie has made FPS what it is today with the Halo franchise. Since Halo: Reach is the last Halo game Bungie will be making, I expect it to hold up to that legacy.

And more than hold up. With the amount of experiance Bungie has with FPS, and the amount of time they have to work on this, I am expecting everything. Awsome gameplay, a good MM system, and customization up the wazoo.

THIS GAME SHOULD BLOW EVERY OTHER FPS AWAY FOR THE NEXT 5 TO 10 YEARS!
