Does anyone think this would be a cool/fun gameplay.

Imagine being able to go any where on the map, there would be no limits.

Tallahassee?
I spent two weeks in Tallahassee one night.

And you would control yourself How?

I'm postive that the UNSC has thruster packs for space ops. Ala EVA.

I meant how would that work on a controller. up down left right front back.

There's a remarkable thing that's been implimented into most games since DOOM; it's called the Y-Axis.

If there were "Zero-G" levels in Reach, it would probably just be like how swimming works in most games, or how you control the monitor in forge. Look the way you want to go, and do it.

I think if they implement some sort of thruster pack they should map the crouch and jump buttons to descend and ascend respectively... I always hated having to look in the direction I'm going to move through empty three dimensional space...

This was not on a console but still. People who have played Crysis, there is a level with Zero-G, it's simple and should also work with a controller.

instead of free-floating maps, I think a well thought out map using zero-g like conditions such as many areas in Dead Space would make a good map. Idk, just a thought.

The fishing in Valhalla is great during this time of year.

Could be fun until I experience vertigo.

Imagine if you will, Boarding Action in Halo: CE.
Take out the teleporters and add a special pickup that lets you move through the empty space between two ships.

Then.... look down.

Yeah, I just spent like 15 minutes petting one, trying to get it to know me.

That would be cool. In the Book, Chief did fight in zero gee.
