This isn't proposed for matchmaking, just Customs and Forge. Apparently I didn't make that entirely clear.

Do you know what's really annoying? Almost every map has some simple way to leave the map that isn't possible to do in matchmaking, but when you go there, you die at random intervals and there are annoying invisible walls everywhere. For instance, on The Pit, if you place a turret along the fence wall and use the turret glitch to go through the wall, you are outside of the map. However, if you stay there too long, you die. Plus, you can only move along the fence, and can't walk out to area with the Pelicans. It just feels really glitchy to have the game react so strangely to a player being out of bounds.

My Proposal
Don't add death barriers to areas the player can't get to unless the Forge the map to allow you to get there. On Citadel, you can go to the area below the map, bu on the bottom there are a bunch of unexplainable invisible walls that prevent that area from being a fully functional playing space. It's just annoying. Just don't mess around with those parts of the map, because they actually are really fun to go to. Bungie could also add Easter eggs outside the map, such as a Troop Hog or something completely random.

Also, adding random death barriers all around the map where players can't get to creates glitches like on Standoff how if you park a vehicle right next to the gate, it will die after a few seconds.

The anticipation of death is worse than death itself.

So your point here is, you want to glitch out of a map during MM and not get killed for it?
You're really gonna come on here and complain that there's methods (albeit minor) to prevent cheating?
What is wrong with you?

I would just like it if they took them away in CC and Forge. I love exploring the maps, even if I do have to leave them but I have disappointed recently due to Bungie being so strict with the barriers.Give the people an experience worth their pay.

Its a chain link fence. You are clearly not supposed to go through it. The death barrier is just there to ensure that nothing bad happens if you do.

Did you just say that the death barrier makes sure nothing bad happens to you?
LMAO

I certainly do agree with this, giving there's no real reason for Bungie to make areas like this practically unusable. It would just give people an extra reason to do custom games.

This I agree with, but for MM, no way, it's just another way to cheat.

I'd rather die and respawn than have a game ruined because I'm stuck behind a wall. I'd also rather not have the game crash or do strange things because I'm in an area that they never intended me to be in.

Death happens, its not a bad thing.
