Hi, I have been playing Halo PC for a while now amd I have attempted many times to try and set up a Halo Dedicated Server. I downloaded the server console and all the updated patches. My problem is when I start the console and I have add all the .int files and every thing is set, I cannot seem to find the server on the gamespy network. Someone please help me from where I am stuck, your help would be much appreciated!

try looking on the LAN gamelist instead of the Internet game list.

yes i have tried both of those and they didnt work. No games showed up on the gamelist. I changed the ports on the network settings in halo from 2302 and 2303 to 2304 and 2305. Maybe i have done something wrong with the server ports. And i have heard before i may have to change the ports on the console. If someone could please help me change the ports on the console it would be much appreciated and if anyone has any ideas about why i cant get to my server tell me then. And if you didnt know this dedi server is being run on the same one i play on.

There other things you have to do.

go here and do a search primarily in the admin forum.

For all you that keep having server/lobby problems, the
solution is simple- but somehow this knowledge keeps getting lost.

In addition to ports 2300-2310, you MUST OPEN port 5632 for TCP
and UDP.
