The reason why I'm saying this is because this game is 10 years or what ever it is before halo ce (combat evolved). And the spartans might look different,so post what you'll think what the spartans look like in this game.

If the games about the fall of reach then it's a few hours/days before the events of Halo: CE

Yeah maybe like the same style armor used in Halo Wars. A variant of the Mark V or whatever

Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position that argues that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

Put simply in the words of Nietzsche as "the will to nothingness".

I hope they look like the Halo Wars spartans, Mark IV looks awesome.

NO. This game is 20 DAYS before Halo 1. Not 10 years.

That (and the Mk IV on the cover of GoO) is an armor permutation of the Mk IV... in TFoR we learn that the standard Mk IV looks identical to the Mk V, but with a slightly smaller backpack (no fusion shield generator).

It's not ten years before CE. If you remember, The Pillar of Autumn fled Reach as it was being glassed. The Fall of Reach is literally days before CE. So, theoretically, it would be the MK V armor.

i hope they put in some new armor aswell as the Mk IV/ V cuz i like perms

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

The book was written a while ago, and the aesthetic look of both armors have changed. The armor seen in Halo Wars is the default look of Mk. IV MJOLNIR armor.

On subject, the Spartans will probably be wearing a graphically updated version of Mk. V armor, maybe even a few different permutations of the armor. As the game details the fall of Reach, it only makes sense that the Spartans would wear Mk. V armor.

Technically it takes place a month before Halo CE, but what ever.

I't said on wikipedia, but sometimes wikipedia is wrong.

"They let me pick... did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others you were strong and swift and brave, a natural leader. But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw but me. Can you guess? Luck."

Correct. Every Spartan would get Mark IV ( No sheilds ), the MC would get Mark V ( Sheilds ).

  • 09.30.2009 1:54 PM PDT

Doesn't really mAtter whether its on wikipedia or not, but at the beginning of 2 and 1 it explains that the beginning of one is master chief and keyes escaping from reach to halo, but the covenant got there first.

  • 09.30.2009 2:00 PM PDT

most likely IV or variants of it. MC got upgraded to V pretty much right before reach i think
