i think it would be cool if spartans had the ability to use the shields battery power for other stuff. like you could devote all of your shields energy into a shield that makes you invunerable for 30 seconds but then wont be able to recharge you shields. or you could use your shields energy for greater strenght or for super jumps and running faster but having a longer recharge time.

Proud frenchie, elite fan, anthro artist not hellbent on yiff convention/pics/whatever, mature and intelligent forum guy, 4chaner, halo 2 lover and halo 3 hater.

in a gameplay point of view : it's like copying crysis as the other guy said.

in a storyline point of view : shields are just for protection. it makes as much sense as saying you could redirect the energy in your airbags of car to go faster...
spartans jump high, hit strong and everything not thanks to the armor but thanks to their extreme training and modifications.

their armor multiplies their strength and speed. before they got mjolnir they were fast and strong but their armor made them even faster and stronger.

after thinking about it it did seem to be like crysis but that was not my influence. my influence was from halo 2 superbouncing. i just expanded on it with strenght and speed and invunerability.

Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position that argues that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

Put simply in the words of Nietzsche as "the will to nothingness".

Pow! Right in the kisser. Yeah I don't think after 8 years or so Bungie will screw up the gameplay we know and love that much.

how would having such abilities screw up the gameplay? if bungie got it right it could make the gameplay better. besides i think they wanna take reach in new directions and not just use the same old halo formula.

again it has nothing to do about crysis. like i said it was influeced by superbouncing from halo 2. only later did i think it might be like crysis.
