i see then why it hasnt been done before except for firefight on halo, i now see that it wont happen but i do like the idea of it.
Also its not the same but on Halo Wars you can have up to 300 units if 6 people are covenant, yes it lags but that is 300 AI surly 1 or 2 at a time wont cause much lag
The nature of an RTS is wholly different than that of an FPS, and the AI players follow suit. An RTS by design follows a very simple set of rules that are typically governed by action and reaction, and limited by rules of balance. The Wars AI, even on Legendary, is very easy to trap when you understand this simple rule.
FPS AI is (in most games) a different story, larger scale, more to interact with, and more actions to be taken. Not to mention the larger models require more information, which is where the scale comes into play in terms of lag.
