Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)
Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)
For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"
Ok. I'm going to make a slightly detailed post here......
Me being a pasttime Halo 2 'fun' glitcher, and a member of HighImpactHalo, I am more on with glitches than against them, TO AN EXTENT.
Let me explain it. Me personally, I enjoy 'fun' glitches that do not ruin the gaming experience. Getting out of levels, strange occurances, etc. Some examples include (all H2):
- On the level sancturary, where it was hard as hell to get out of the map, but satasifying once you did it. Only aquireable in custom games though.
- On the level (forgot name. It was a ship graveyard with pieces falling from the sky now and again) where if you got rammed with a wraith in a certain spot, your body was projected as a giant above the level for a minute or so.
Now, I however, did NOT support the glitches that interfered with online competitive play. Examples include (all H2):
- Button glitches (If you ask me, were the worst of the worst)
- Superjumps (access to outer areas for unfair advantages)
- Easy out of level (Like headlong for instance)
Pretty much, I enjoyed the harder to do, but undoable in matchmaking glitches that were fun in custom games. However, when button glitches, superjumps, etc. became popular, they ruined the Halo 2 Matchmaking experience.
Wrapped all up, Halo: Reach would be cool with very tough to do, but satisfying ways to get out of maps (only able to do on custom or forge...if reach has forge) and many some easter eggs here and there. Just make sure it doesnt interfer with competitive play.
If need be, dont call them glitches, but instead, 'tricks' or 'easter eggs'. I'm sure hard to do, but ways to get out of maps (not in MM) could be considered easter eggs if put in right.
