Subject: Master Chief in Halo: Reach?

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

Well, I'm betting that if this game has a legendary ending, it'll probably show the Master Chief from the Legendary ending of Halo 3 ( I believe he was landing on Planet Reach in that ending. ) He probably will find surviving spartans.

Fail. The Chief already went back to Reach to find the surviving Spartans after he destroyed the first Halo. And the Halo 3 legendary planet is not Reach. Gosh, I'm sick of all these misinformed people on the Forums.

He should be. He was there. At the battle, but in space with Linda and James I believe.

I doubt he'll be in the game. During the Battle of Reach (which is what everybody who isn't an idiot that believes in time travel thinks this game is about) Master Chief was on his way to Halo.

Not entirely true. That was once the battle was an obvious loss. During the battle he went into space over Reach to do a very important mission with Spartans Linda and James (I think James).

MC was up on a Covenent battle ship along with Fred and Kelly. Although this took place right above reach, so there might be a chance he's at least in the game. Dont know about playin as him though

Not Fred and Kelly. Linda and James I beleive. Fred commanded the ground squad and Kelly was for sure there on the ground.

No... he had a space op, and as soon as it was over, he hightailed it to the ring; the random coordinates were at the ring. The simplest way to say it is that you need some more education on the timeline.
He had a space-op. Him, Linda and James went to a Super MAC cannon to destroy data that could lead the Covenant to Earth before the Covenant got to it. James was lost in space, Linda was critically hurt and placed in a Cryo-tube on the Pillar of Autumn. They then jumped to a random location (although Cortana knew exactly where they were going, just not exactly what was going to be there when they arrived). They found Halo. During all of this the rest of the Spartans (Fred, Kelly, Malcolm, Fhajad, etc.) were on the ground fighting. I've all the books twice. And I've come to the conclusion that you're a jackass.

What he said.

Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position that argues that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

Put simply in the words of Nietzsche as "the will to nothingness".

And after the Nav crystal was destroyed, master chief was sent off into space, and fought on the first Halo, while the other spartans were fighting on reach to protect a forerunner artifact. MC only comes back to reach after he destroys the first halo

Linda was in cryo-storage and james died. Blatantly obvious by now.

i hope to see master chief in the game for 3 reasons:

1: Master Chief is the main charaecter of the Halo Games.

2: Who will keep the Arbitor at bay is he goes crazy.

3: Everyone knows Master Chief Survived that Explosion at the end of Helo 3

Halo: Reach is a prequel to Halo: CE.

Do you have any idea what that planet is at the ending of Halo 3 legendary? and their could be chance you do get to play him when he lands on on a covenant carrier, you might be able to play two characters like you do in Halo 2 it might not all take place on Reach

  • 10.01.2009 6:36 AM PDT

most likely since he was squadleader

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

It was Gamma Station, not a Super MAC and they went there to destroy the Nav Data on the ONI Prowler, the Circumference which was docked there. Malcolm died on impact when the team of Spartans crashed on Reach and Fhajad was crippled 27 years ago during augmentation. I suggest you read the books again.
Gamma station WAS a super MAC cannon.

Hopefully Masterchief will not be in Halo Reach.
Don´t get me wrong, he´s awesome but
his times are over.

  • 10.01.2009 6:57 AM PDT

It's possible. Or we will have squad based gameplay like ODST, which would make sense. Just look at the forum banners for Reach and ODST.

Nobody knows as of yet though, but I'm sure we'll find out in due time :D

  • 10.01.2009 7:12 AM PDT

Maybe MC will be there in final chapters, but I really don't think he will be the main character.

  • 10.01.2009 7:20 AM PDT

not to be a dooche about this post but how can you tell. the figures are all blacked out. i would agree that they are spartans. my memory of the book "fall of reach" is a alittle cloudy but wasnt reach glassed and also wasnt it the spartan train planet or something.

  • 10.01.2009 7:27 AM PDT

Mc is they last known spartan. who says that more couldnt have gotten away. i would love to see there be more spartans scattard across the stars.

its completely possible.

He left before the real fighting happened but he fought in zero g for a while and after Halo 1 he came back and fought on the ground and under it if i recall so ya maybe if they do things the way ODST was done.
