So, obviously the geography of Myth on Reach would be awesome. Presumably the game will have some geography going on being that it is name after a whole planet.

Don't get me wrong though, I don't think the point should be to say that Reach used to be the myth world blah blah bungieverse. I'm just saying it should be done in the spirit of bungieness. Just for kicks, the UNSC settlers named their cities Madrigal and Muirthemne in exactly the same spots on a continent exactly like that in Myth. That would be a pure bungiegasm and with no 'hidden links' implied.

This gives rise to the question of Commander Keyes' Marathon emblem, or those all over the forerunner stuff. In Marathon, Jjaro tech was discovered and copied by humans - AI, marathon guy cyborg, etc. Such a connection - ONI - previously unknown? And what is the connection to Marathon. There should at least be a reference to marathon if not an explicit connection. Which would be stupid actually. But the references would be awesome.

I'd love Cortana to throw out Durandal quotes, like how many years the universe has left and crazy stuff like that. Make it real, keep it real.

Plus a real-life Wrc'nanctkr or however the *#%$ you spell it. After all, the Wrc#*($#(*kr would exist in every universe, he exists in our worst nightmares, and certainly would be present in the Halo IP.

So many people who only started with Bungie on Halo 3 are going to be completely lost to this awesome idea.

That would be awesome. Also they should remake another Marathon map for Halo Reach
