I guess Huragoks (A.K.A Engineers) are heavily involved this easter egg thing, 'cause I've been looking ages for 7 reference that could appear anywhere, 'cause you know, #7 is Bungie's the thing. And today I finally discovered first 7 reference, I've yet seen, as I noticed, that Huragok has seven limbs, if we dont count their head. Could this be somekind of clue, that Huragoks are key to everything? As there is also two Huragoks in Stonehenge room. I guess I will investigate more Huragoks while playing next time.

I cant beleive nobody sayd its most likely cuz ODST is a crappy spin off of Halo 3. Basically its the same game, same game engine, except the levels are moved around and are just different skins for Master Chief. Poorly rendered ones at that, but regardless of what you guys think or hope.

This game is Halo 3.2, just with new skins.

So they didnt add anyting, they just left it there cuz why worry about that when there gonna make 60 bucks off a patch for halo 3.

yawn H3fanboy ^ how is ODST a copy of H2 and 3 it is in mombasa which you never go to in H3 and there are new enemies(engineers)

  • 10.06.2009 11:33 AM PDT

Ok, this may or may not have been noticed, but in the Stonehendge room, if you open the door, but dont go in or let the engineers see you, they shine a "light" or something up and down the pillars. Wonder what there doing?

In reading about engineers on halopedia. I saw this that came of interest to me:
"they (engineers) will utter a high-pitched keening sound whenever a Forerunner artifact is under any sort of threat."

Since humans are descendants of forerunners and Mombasa has buildings, artifacts, etc of forerunners maybe you do have to either shoot or grenade their artifacts to trigger something. Maybe hurting the already dead elites (just guessing).

On a side note, do the pillars in the stonehenge produce musical tone when being shot at, grenade thrown at it, or melee (sorry if I misspelled it).

Guys I was playng today so I could contribute and I have found something.

I notices that in one of the areas on the map, it shows the pillars. But when you stand where they are supposed to be in the actual game, they are not there. Any ideas??

other than in the begining of the game, in the bulding where 2 jackels are looking around in, almost evry time you see those "Y"
markings are by dead elites. (and in supply caches) this makes me think that they are messages written in forerunner glyphs we only know glyphs that mean single words, so the Y may signfy a sentence or paragraph

to all members of this thread:

the reason bungie put the medal chest the way they did and the glyphs the way they did is because they are bungie...kings of confusion and mystery.

The last time I tried to make a quote, a car smashed through my wall and the tire hit my grandmother in the other room. But for those of you who can haz once more between five, I say it will be five between seven divided by zero multiplied by Chick Norass and Broce Tee.

My stonehedge room had a Sad face on one of the Stonehedges. Is it the same for everyone? I remember one guy saying earlier that he had two stonehedges knocked over. Mind were all upright. Different room?

Just something to add. . . .in sector 6 with all the dead Elites there is a word on the wall. "BELIEVE" 7 letters. Coincidence?

@ impeller Rifle.

I am by no means a Halo 3 fanboy, in fact Halo 3 is a -blam!- game just like this one.

New mombasa is like a -blam!- circle. You go to the same place back and forth, back and forth.

Levels are teh same as halo 3, same types of levels. If you dont see that your retarded.

Its halo 3.2 with skins!

Shoulda gave us brute skins too, bastards.

haha that's funny. I like how people don't believe in any easter egg in ODST so they commit themselves to disproving us. Doesn't bother me I just think it's funny
