The below phrase is false
The above phrase is true.

R2R:6/1

There are wierd distinct markings that look as if they are marks similar to the "mark of shame" on wall sections, but they never showed up the next day. It was on a Wednesday i think.

You can bump your way into that area of District 09 if you'd like to look around. Unlike other "glitches" you don't have to spend hours lining up fusion coils or hopping on and off mongooses... you just have to walk around a little.

Follow the steps in the video I posted earlier. If you can't follow the technique based on the vid, just do a search for "bump glitching" at the SGP site.

SGP members bumped D04 this morning. So far we've done 00,03,04,08, and 09.

But I'm not trying to get to a blackened out area that you're not supposed to go to. I'm trying to go to a place that looks like you're suppsoed to beable to go in there. Will this bumping work on that?

The most precious jewel in human existence is time. You just don't see it yet.

You know I would love to help you guys if you had to search stuff online and in-game gameplay but...I haven't had Live in over months now so yea :/ But I pray you guys find this sword or that single round BR people keep ranting about. I know the BR was first single round cause of the trailer waaaayy back when Halo 2 was like new but yea. Good luck Sword ODST team o.o

The truth is that there is no Sword visible under normal circumstances in ODST. Incidentally, an OMMISION I find most gratifying.

Those GIFs simply represent medals that were cut from the game but not the Bungie.net source code.

Source: Occam's Razor.

Or, if you demand more substantial reasoning, just take a look at the medals chest. What do you notice about the empty black boxes?

That's right, there is no '?' icon representing medals that have yet to be achieved. Why are the black boxes present under the weapon spree section but not the style section? Because the page would look messy if they were not present.
Please read the thread before you appear even more ignorant.

Occam's Razor doesn't apply here - we are left with 2 equally confusing/complicated possibilities.

As to the boxes, look at the Halo 3 medal chest. There are no empty black boxes and there are plenty of spaces before the medal chest ends.

Occam's Razor applies to everything.

What you should also realise is that Bungie are not ultra-professional. The ODST instruction manual refers to Elites as 'Shangheili'. The Phantom description on B.net references 'VOTL' as opposed to 'VTOL'. The black boxes are simply another minor 'inconsistency' (if you can call them that - I still maintain they are for neatness' sake) that do not have any relevance to anything in-game.

No I really have no idea about the sword. I feel as though I'm missing out on something cool like prom

Are some people just lame or they do not grant us the ''Idea'' of a Sword??

"I aim to please"- Noble Six, Reach 2552.

Well there isn't a sword in firefight that's linked to the medals. The final medal is infact a stick spree (5 consecutive sticks) with a corresponding medal for 10 sticks.

Medal can be seen in my stats:

Slay your friends
Slay your enemies
Slay your friends' enemies

It's Halo: Reach

I attempted a braille translation but came up with this:

Remove bottom line it reads: eerjcg uonipe (with random accents on some)

Remove top line: edivj (i stopped because its all giberish)

Here are some anagrams for the first one:
coupe jeering
couper jeeing
croupe jeeing
erogenic jupe
geep jouncier
jee recouping
jeeing couper
jeeing croupe
jeeing recoup
jeering coupe
jouncier geep
juicer pongee
junco perigee
jupe erogenic
perigee junco
pongee juicer
recoup jeeing
recouping jee
rejoice unpeg
unpeg rejoice

Being a Halo geek, the last one caught me. Cortana deciphers Covenant transmissions in one of the novels. I vaguely remember a phrase she 'dumbs down' using the rogue AI's code:

"....Intruders in the Holy chamber... Work Proceeding... Relics Found REJOICE"

and this one, don't remember where this was actually, but it jumped straight to me...

"...UNPEG your robes, strap on your combat suit, and ready for battle, brothers!"

so unpeg, rejoice, could mean something has been found but we have to defend it.....?

Sorry, I'm clutching at straws a bit here, but then again, so are most people I guess.

OMG this is the most funniest post I have ever seen on b-net
Laughingn the hell outta here!!!!

i'm a pongee juicer!!!!!

That's a good idea except. . . . .that's really hard. Don't you have to be on Legendary already and then put all the skulls on? Jesus Christ that's hard, but I think I may try it.

  • 10.10.2009 2:22 PM PDT

I used to think there was only one,but after doing some things,I discovered another one.Maybe more open up?Maybe after finding the "circle" glyphs.

  • 10.10.2009 2:56 PM PDT

Okay, I tried to interact with some engineers at a stone hedge. May, or may not be important.

I went to search in a mysterious stone hedge. All the glyphs on it were empty except for one. it was shaped like this "Y". On the top of it was a sad super intendant. Around it lied a dead elite. Maybe they had put it there to signal the sadness of the elite dead. Aside that I also saw three purple light stick things.

When I arrived I brought a damaged mongoose. I left it there and ran into a building. I returned a moment later to see if anything had happened. Nothing happened. Next I tried honking the horn, I think they started to act different, but I wasn't 100% sure. Other failed attempts were "Breaking all the purple lights, and Destroying my mongoose"

I think these motion tracker like glow sticks have something to do with it.
When you get within 5 meters or so, they light up a bright white color. Illuminates everything. This definately has soemthing to do with the engineers.
Also, in the supply caches, the Y's are there too, but they have symbols in between the lines of the Y.

I am a work in progress...

has anyone notice that when you turn on your visor and zoom in on an empty sword that it has 7 markings on each side of it. they kind of remind me of the markings on the skulls
I don't know if anyone else saw this but it got my attention to maybe look at the markings and see what skulls they are, turn them on and go back there.
