My Construction contains the Instruction for my Self-Destruction through the World's Corruption

if you're going to correct me, spell right. Anyways, there are more than four brutes in the next section. To say bill past due is to say that the covies and the humans are already allied. what that means is that we have already had a chance to give them what we got, but didn't. For this statement to be true, it is suggested that we are already allies with the covies. The SI would know that the covies failed from alternate cameras. The only question I have is how he would know we are allies. This is after the blast and the com= was shut off. The ONI must have already been allies at the beginning of Halo 2. Why the bloodshed?

Seems to me that Bungie kinda screwed the timeline up on this unless someone can explain it to me. By the time John 117 went into slipspace with Regret, then accessed and landed on Installation 05, and ended up killing him, a day or at the very least 6 hours should've passed, between the slipspace event and the death of Regret. Even then, the news of his death (and the handing over of power from the Elites to the Brutes) would've taken more time and even more-so the eventual rising up of the Elites took even more time which is the primary explanation for the dead Elites in ODST.

In ODST, we're lead to believe from Buck's story, that the elites were killed right after if not during or before the slipspace event (which doesn't make too much sense since in H2 we were fighting Elites up to the slipspace event). That would imply either Bungie screwed up or that the Brutes do this quite often once the Prophet of their fleet leaves the scene (In other words, something else was going on, as LeBlanc172 has pointed out, possibly in league already with Oni)

Not only that, but 30 days later they're interrogating Vergil. I don't believe MC was gone that long during the events of Halo 2 up to the point of him slipspacing back in the Forerunner ship with Truth (because the interrogation certainly didn't happen during H3, it had to have happened before hand), but perhaps more is revealed in the Halo Comics that show the events between H2 and H3.

The brutes hate the elites. Have you read the cole protocol. The brutes betrayed the arbiter, killed his men and destroyed the his ship. I think brutes is doing all they can to take the elites place, even killing. And perhaps the profhet of truth has already ordered the brutes to kil everybody in the city, even regrets squads

Ok today I was messing about and found an area that resembled stonehenge. It is in the area where you have a sort of stonehenge in the middle of the map very early on in the game. Anyway I say that cause there seems to be a few stonehenges around New Mombassa.

Anyway I noticed a little side area where there is another stonhenge. This is not the one that has all the markingings on it though. I am not claiming the location is secret as it is well known.

The area has a wall that is a waterfall and a jackal sniper and two engineers.

Anyway early on in the game the walls were covered in glyphs and had some strange markings all over the area. The glyphs were similar to those found around dead Elites. Except on very large circle. Just a circle not the usual Virgal face. Just a circle with a heap of Y type glyphs around it.

So I got to thinking...

I thought to try and get on top of stonehenge or even up to where the jackal was sniping from. I went around that section and found some boxes and things I could move into the stonehenge area but they were not high enough.

I put some smaller crates next to stonhenge and jumped on top of them. As I tried to jump up on top of stonehenge the engineers seemed to come really close and made all manner of strange chirping noises. Not the usual noises this time they seemed really interested in what I was doing.

I could not get on top of stonehenge though as the crates I used to jump on were not high enough.

So I figured to play along in the game a bit and get myself a mongoose and try to push around some larger crates.

However when I returned later on all the Glyphs were gone. The engineers were there but no glyphs. The jackal had returned and tried to snipe me again but there were no glyphs.

I tried to wait a while and see what the engineers would do but nothing really happened they just flew around. They didn't seem anywhere near as chirpy as earlier on.

So I got to thinking something might be in that area early on in the game. I am betting you need to get up on the next level or somewhere higher up to find a cache of weapons or possibly even some more dead Elites.

The whole scenario just seemed really suspicious to me.

Oh and as I tried to backtrack to stonehenge I encountered huge waves of enemies. I mena lots of them. The largest groupings I have seen so far. They just kept coming and seemed twice as large as usual. Then I would go around a corner and another group would be there.

I should mention I was playing solo legendary.

Hmmm maybe if you play coop you can jump on your buddies shoulders and get on top of stonehenge that way. I nearly made it on my own if someone was on top of my shoulders they could have jumped up.

i doubt there is a sword in ODST but there is something very strange in Stonehenge as the glyphs only usually appear around dead Elites yet you can not find any dead Elites around stonehenge. Hence I am thinking they might be up on the upper level.

Maybe this is what the Super meant when it says the bill past due thing. The Super only says it when you reach the second level of the building. I'm betting that you're right and there is something on the second level of the buildings. And plus, if you keep going after the Super says "Bill past due," at the very top you find a dead brute and a dead elite, and there's a Mauler by the brute, but no weapon by the elite. Maybe that has some significance, but I don't know.

The Energy Swords' heat would burn away their armor. Dx

sigh, the reason why you can use the energy sword a bunch of times in a row (ie. on halo 3's level cortana, when you get a sword you can attack everyting in sight) and the sword wont overheat, this is because it has a more concrentrated magnetic system to hold in the plasma, and the fact that the plasma doesnt actually touch the hilt, so the hilt wouldnt be really hot

Si vis pacem, para bellum

I don't know if this has any relevance but elsewhere on this site theres a post by some guys who claimed that when they stickied the dead Elite in Stonehenge for a couple of times, the Elite actually came back to life and stood up for a few seconds! This is just a hypothesis (and a wild one at that), but what suppose the ultimate secret to getting a sword (if one exists) is that we somehow have to bring back all the Elites to life? After all the Elites are the guys who carry the swords right? Maybe these Stonehenge circles somehow are the key to doing just that?

yes, it is awesome... but, it won't matter unless they are in the right position. This is because the reason that we can't grab the sword is that it is out of energy. The elite would have to be next to the sword to begin with for the 5 second time period to elapse

Nooooo, I don't think that's ever gonna happen. It's seems to be just a glitch.

well, this is because in CE he shot at you so he was on your team, but against you. Anyways, it is a glitch that the game wouldn't have accounted for. Also, the coloration could be neither for the same deal listed above. The elite isn't really on your side, but he isn't exactly against you either. Anyways, what I mean is that you would already have to be near the sword for the elite to get it. This means you have to already know the location

The Spartan 1 Project

Someone mentioned trying to jump onto the pillars, and getting to the jackal . . . if you watch Terra Incognita at 1:23 you can see a gauss cannon, a human turret, some sandbag barriers, and a wood bridge to another building. Thats probably only been in the development stages but if not, we could find that place and get onto the buildings.

The reason there is no outline is because the Elite isn't actually alive, It's still a dead body, rised up into fighting stance with a mysterious way.

BREAKTHROUGH!!
Maybe not but i was playing through campaign and in the building where you start Tayari Plaza i saw This. Its a Y shape with 3 symbols, one symbol looks like the one on the dead elites armor. To the loft of where his chest armor bends.
EDIT: by the way, the symbols aren't visible in co-op.

Yeah, it's not. The glyphs are one of the oldest things to be, and they don't match with the Elite armor. Srry.
