When theres doubt...There is no doubt

Ok, I dont know if this has been mentioned b4 or even relevant, but here goes. When u enter the area with the stone henge and 2 engineers dont do anything for a couple of minutes. After which a phantomn will fly over head with a strange entrail under its belly. Now if u shoot the entrail with a sniper rifle it will explode. I u hit it with a rocket launcher the whole phantomn will be destroyed, after which in the debris u will find a grunt and its plasma pistol. Ive only tried this on easy mode and the phantomn will make 3 passes and all will drop a grunt with its plasma pistol. It takes a good half hour between the 3 passes but on another difficulty with skulls turned on may produce a different outcome to the phantomn explosion.

intreasting, but the entrails are the same as the ones in kikowani station (Campaign banshee level) that are near some engineer homes and some people have mentioned engineers liking elites so maybe your onto something there

In time, this blood supply will change me from red to white.

has anyone yet mentioned that in the storyline of halo it is mentioned that only spartans can wield the plasma sword(aside from elites), because of how much force and energy it puts out. and for those reasons odsts and marines cant.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Why is it in game campaign u have to be a paticular character to drive a scorpion or use a sniper/rocket launcher. Yet on mombassa streets the rookie can hijack and use a ghost?

Halo is fun! :D

There's no Scarab Gun in Halo ODST, either. BUT IT TAKES PLACE DURING THE EVENTS OF HALO 2.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Some of the time you won't see me. Half of the time, you'll hear me coming a mile away, but you won't be able to do anything about the chopper that's gonna turn you into a pancake. And the rest of the time? Well, I'm not invincible, you know...

I've been reading every post so far, but I've just realized something that nobody has mentioned in the first eighteen or so pages (not paying much attention, this is probably from 19 or 20). I'm gonna be really mad if you guys have already figured it out, but here it goes anyway. The beeps from the console, they start with a number and then, following that number, are two sets of beeps, each set with three beeps. I noticed that the first set of beeps in each series matches with a district that a stonehenge structure is in. I can't verify it now, but I'd bet money that the standing structure is in District 5, while Mickey's pod and the empty courtyard are in Districts 4 and 6 (four beeps followed by three and three, then six beeps followed by three and three). I need someone to check that for me, because my 360 is in a box somewhere in the garage and can't get unpacked right now.

Wow, I'm glad I didn't hit submit, because I just realized something else. Three and three adds up to six. The maps that I'm finding on the web are too grainy to be sure, but I think that the maps all say that there are six pillars in each courtyard.

I can't be sure that it's useful information, a red herring, or just plain coincidence. I could be seeing animals in the clouds but, if that's the case, these are some very strange clouds in their own right. I hope this is useful, but I could just as well be repeating what's been said over the sixty or so pages I have yet to read, or rambling on about a mystery solved long before I even found the case.

I'm collecting info on this, and I've saved some screen shots and quotes from posters on this thread. I'll keep doing this and, hell or high waters, I will figure these glyphs out. Since I can't get on Live right now, you can contact me on Xfire if I'm not the only one who still cares about it. I'm Helljumper; IFF Tag: 0D57

Where there is smoke, there is fire. Or a smoke machine.

It does make sense, Spartans and Elites had managed to use the energy sword naturally, there was no training. ODST's and marines have training in hijacking ghosts, driving covenant vehicles etc. You don't have to be a certain character at all.

  • 08.30.2010 8:48 AM PDT

yeah ima pro you lamo

agreed the info on bungie says that only spartans and elites are strong enough to rip off turrets but odsts can do that too. so why not the sword

  • 09.09.2010 1:21 PM PDT

Command__ The Undead
Control_____The Undead
Lead______ The Undead
Be________ The Undead
Meet The___ Undead_assassin

yer... something else really strange... when elites & spartans carry turrets... they move slow... when the ODSTs do it... they move faster...

also the grav hammer is definitely a bigger, harder weapon to use so the sword should of been put before everything else

You couldn't have said it better. SGP still is on to this, with forums open to those who are interested. Join in, there's plenty of room.
...The ODST board IS a bit deserted at the time, though. Reach has some sweet fresh secrets to find, see. :P

Don't -blam!- with Kerser!

Im pretty sure you were all searching for something that wasnt there

  • 10.23.2010 5:54 AM PDT

The best event in the Halo series was the grunt rebellion!

Listen to some of this on, this site.

The sword might not be n ODST. I don't see an ODST wielding one anyway...

Please don't hype for games...
They'll just fall short of your expectations and you'll complain for months.

Very interesting. I'm going to have to keep an eye on this thread. I didn't even know about the "stonehenges." Shows how much of a detective I really am in this game.

You see the stonehenges if you search for all the audio logs.

I currently am working on Halo Wars achievements. 4 to go.
I currently am working on Halo 2 achievements.
I currently have all Halo 3 achievements.

I currently have all Halo: Reach achievements.

Maybe we can ask Bungie about them? :3

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Interesting. That's a pretty cool find. Hopefully we'll one day find the sword. I would help, but my disc is unreadable. :'(
