[that one]

Could the next Halo(Reach) be next gen as well using Microsoft's Project Natal? How would Natal be used in Halo, if at all?

Does anyone even read these?

Natal in an FPS? I just don't see how that would work.

search bar would bring tons of thread.

the community came to the conclusion :
1 natal is terrible for FPS
2 halo is competitive. if natal has ANY role, it won't be crucial, nor important. it wont be a (small) part of the gameplay
3 chances natal and halo are compatible are 7%
4 since natal won't be out by the time the beta is out, they can't test it.

We could talk to the squad and order them around, while using our controller to play?

The day my favorite games stop using controllers to play is the day I retire from gaming.

Reach won't use Natal.

How do we know? The public beta is released before Natal is.

True but now you don't need something in your ear and on your face to do it.

Chief vs the scarab? I find that hard to believe to roundhouse boot the scarab's figurative emotion out of the gaming zone.

While I'm not necessarily against innovation - in fact I think it's pretty cool and amazing - but I absolutely hate this idea. I can enjoy wii golf to an extent, but most games I play are absolutely frustrating because they're too inaccurate. I can't imagine the frustration this would bring to a precision style of game like a shooter. Not to mention, it does make you feel stupid doing all of that. If you watch the first link from above, you can see one cool feature that would cause the virtual world to move according to how we move. I wouldn't mind some aspect of this stuff integrated, but don't make the core part of it like this. It would suck.

For navigating user interfaces perhaps. Although for something like aiming or melee you could lose a lot of precision. Pretty much anything regarding gameplay could end up turning out poorly. It would be pretty cool though to control theater mode with natal. It would be similar to....er..that one tom cruise movie !
